  2. Cheers Steve, just wanted confirmation that I understood it correctly.
  3. Pete, my mum works 5 days a week, for 5 hours a day (2pm-7pm) so am I right thinking that she is still entitled to 24 days paid leave?

    What fuel?

I would check first by someone more knowledgable if it's ok to put an ethonal blend into such an old car before using it then.

    What fuel?

    Isn't Tesco Finest 15% ethanol?

    Oil prices

We would have done already if the £ hadn't tanked against the dollar. Petrol is still 25-30p a litre cheaper than it was in the summer. Vat is being decreased to 12% soon so that will take another 5p off.

    Im very upset

Anyone else feel like they are tripping out?
  8. Have you spotted some utter shed in the classifieds and wondered who owns it?
  9. Oh everything that's good and pure! Want one! Price?
  10. 7 weeks officialy but it's nearer 12 due to shifts of 4's and 3's but we don't get PH's off or in lieu and I've worked 6 christmas days in 8 years.
  11. I'd heard about that the other week. Yorkshire aren't the only 'partnership' to do this, I think Wiltshire did too.
  12. Is it not just old suspension? Geometry has a huge effect on handling, and for reasons I have never understood the Supra has incredibly adjustable geometry, you can make it under steer like a barge or you can have it trying to swap ends by just lifting off in a sweeper. Mine is set so it's as neutral as possible but to hell with the tyre wear and have no problems taking corners faster than my friends Westfield. Proper race suspension is horrible on the road, you wince with mechanical sypathy everytime you crash over bumps or holes, no matter how small, it's also figity and just unpleasent.
  13. If you download the google tool bar it has a spell checker, it isn't perfect, eg it won't recognise "they're" instead of "there" or "their" but it'll certainly help (as you can see in the quote it fixed).
  14. Funny how Euan Blair won't be there. Must suck haveing to fight someone elses war. Good luck and hope you have a safe return (if you get a chance to read this out there)
  15. Disagree Doug, this is proper brain out use a hammer to crack a nut (and still miss). TVP, the press, the councillors, MP's and action groups are absolutely desperate for SPECs to be installed on the M40 - all of it but would 'settle' for coverage from 1a to 7. They base this support on 7 fatal crashes in 18 months, each of the seven crashes were shown in the Bucks Free Press as 'proof' for the need of cameras. Crash 1- Lorry crosses over central reservation from westbound to eastbound carriageway, ploughing into oncoming traffic. Crash 2- van gets squashed by lorry on approach to J1a due to woeful road planning and general impatience (in general) as lane 1 becomes a slip road filter and people queue jump, swap lanes etc. Crash 3- cause unknown, still under investigation. Crash 4- woman drives into back of parked Iveco truck broken down on hard shoulder. Crash 5- Another car squashed on approach to J1a Crash 6 - Bloke crashes into car parked on hard shoulder. Crash 7- Pick up flipped over, rescuer died when struck by a passing truck. Phase 1 has begun- Scamera vans parked on bridges every day for two weeks yet wouldn't have prevented atleast 6 of those accidents used as 'proof' for their need because speed isn't the be all and end all of road safety, if we educated people into increased observation and general awereness would be a start.
  16. The A413 from Aylesbury-Buckingham - to where it meets up with the A43 at Silverstone is fantastic when empty, definately a 5am June morning job.
  17. Gaz are these available in 18 inch?
  18. If you get it wrong you will have to make like a shepherd and get the flock outta here.
  19. Apart from the usual greed i wonder if when pressed the banks admit they haven't passed on the cuts to the expense side but quickly passed them on at the savings side is because they are flat broke? Could get interesting. btw Libor has gone down today.
  20. Love the 'dodgy jdm importer' style foglight on the back.
  21. The commercial banks were greedy and were not as picky or choosey as they should have been, they were happy to take on high risk debts which had high rewards if those debts were repayed, and if those debts weren't repayed they got a house to sell at auction and trousered the difference- well that was the plan but so many defaulted the banks were left with lots of risky debts and a shedload of iffy houses which by the shear number saturated the auction markets and lowering their values, if there were buyer/bidders in the first place and often there wasn't. As they say, if you owe the bank £10k, you have a problem, if you owe the bank £10m, the bank has a problem.

    What a c**** !

I knew that PH quote was written by that tit Brett928 by the end of the first line. The only thing making more hot air than his car is his gob.
