  1. Maybe it's a USDM car with an airbrushed bonnet scoop? I don't think Euro cars had side markers.
  2. Have you thought about selling health insurance?
  3. I think you've ballsed it up somewhere Kim.
  4. That's why the police get involved.
  5. Dog warden & local police.
  6. I love big brakes but no way would I have 20's!
  7. What surprises me is the "I'm alright Jack" attitude because so many think this won't affect them. GM have a finger in every US pension scheme pie, some UK pension schemes are tied in with US schemes is just one example.
  8. Could explain how you came to £3200 net and could you define a decent life? Last time members were measured I think it turned out there were quite a few on minimum wage.
  9. An interesting read: http://blogs.motortrend.com/6350673/editorial/fixing-detroit-of-course-its-easy/index.html
  10. It only takes a no-nothing busybody to make a call that you have a pitbull for your KC registered staffy to be taken away until your court case so you can prove your KC Staffy isn't a 'pit bull type' (good luck with that).
  11. Mine seem fine, as far as feel goes they are very good, even if they do sacrafice ultimate grip for feedback and progression. Maybe one of your dampers at the back have failed?
  12. It looks like all three are in incredibly deep poo. This time last year everyone thought 3 would become 2, but which two was anyone's guess, now it looks like only Ford may survive. If one goes under it is bad, if two go under it is really bad, and if all three go under it'll make Lehmans look like a warm up act. Like the game "7 degrees of Kevin Bacon" I wonder how many degrees of separation from The Big Three 'you' need to have to be ok? Who will go first? My money is on GM going before Bush does.

    Speeding fines

There is an advert for a car (could be Renualt) at the moment that says that 80% of accidents happen at under 20mph in the UK. Hogmaw, no one is defending 50 in a 30 (even if some 30's are just daft) but 90 on the motorway and getting 6 points? I don't know of any part of the motorway network where you couldn't stop from 90 in the roadspace you can see, even in a 1.0 treehugger.
  15. Chris I don't see how you could breed a staffy with anything to pass it off as an American Bulldog pup. I was at the vets with my staffy who was 3y.o at the time when a farmer brought in a AKC registered bulldog pup at around 12 weeks old for jabs, this pup was almost as big as my staffy. He had an adult in his Land Rover and he was huge, much larger than any Rottweiler I've ever seen. If that DDA list gets ammended, it'll be very draconian and anything 'interesting' will be on that list. Like garethR, I too doubt the source of that list, that's tthe work of somebody with an axe to grind and there are no toy breeds on that list either.
  16. That sounds like your wheels do not fit.
  17. Holy meatballs Batman! 290 yards away, and he was in my class all through school from 1984-1995. 6 yards further up the road is another member. 10 members within 2 miles.
  18. I think the days of engines being massively overbuilt are long gone- why carry more weight than you need?
  19. Nissan are claiming really low friction losses on the GTR aren't they, I wonder what the fly hp was? I make it a shade under 600bhp. Did well really.
  20. Marginally lighter, with marginally quicker spooling turbos, and er, well I'm damned if I can think of anything else.
  21. Lol! I know what I would rather have and it isn't the SZ.
  22. Who owns/owned the car with the sequential GT2510's on it or had them on it?
  23. My history teacher, who was old enough to be the syllabus herself had a black XR2 in 1991. She also drove like a headcase, as did my art teacher in her Mini Moke.
  24. Kin ell what happend to the TT lump?
