  1. Hi, can anyone help me find that thread where someone posted two pictures, first of the J-spec brakes, and the 2nd of the UK brakes (plus specs would be handy!) Cheers
  2. Anyone here driven both? How did you think they compared? Cheers Gaz
  3. Good rant, until you said: Which made you sound like a 12 year old. Regarding the pisstaking from newbies- do we get a special card- an advanced members pack, if you will - at 6 months/1 year/ 2 years that say "you may now take the piss"????
  4. Agree, although wouldn't say no to a rev5 MR2T, but would rather get an NSX, Tamora or Corvette next. Back on topic- Adrian Flux eh? I'll give 'em a ring...
  5. Very true, and a valid point- although matey (the orginal poster) couldn't decide between the MR2T vs GT4 vs Supra TT vs Supra NA, so assumed the hairdresser comment was leveled at the MR2T.
  6. Likewise, I'm 25, wife is 32, full ncb- £1000. Matey regarding MR2's - hairdresser cars? Yeah alright, better (and faster) than an all show-no go "I bought it cos it looks nice" N/A Supra.
  7. Sounds silly, done a faq/search too btw, how do you change the headlight bulbs? From the back (do you have to move the air-box?) or from the front, removing the glass? I feel stupid asking this.
  8. I'm in High Wycombe if weekends are bad!
  9. I've got a box full of JDM calipers in the garage.
  10. Hi, what's the CO2 emmisions for a TT supra?

  12. TVR's Reflex Charcoal. Look on the TVR website for the colour.
  13. How much petrol did you/do you have in the tank? I was racing a Griffith once, when on low fuel (like real low), when something happened like running in to the 112mph limiter (mine is delimited), just wouldn't pull over 4000rpm. Had to stop at a petrol station anyway, filled up, found a large stretch and gunned it, revved clean in 3rd (auto) till well over 6k. I'm not saying this is the cause of your problem, but is it worth thinking about???

  16. Seems to be quite a few people who would like one though.
  17. Chemical Brothers - Galvanise
  18. Another standard car here (except proper brakes and 18's).
  19. Quick question- what are the legal matters concerning the install of Nitrous? Can anyone buy it off the shelf and fit it themselves and then use the car on the road, or do you have to have it fitted and checked by someone of authority?
  20. If it is an urban myth, it's one that gets repeated A LOT. The only time I saw mine next to a rev1 with the hoods up, the rev1 had a BEAMS engine in it! I had a Toyota owners manual that had all the different specs between the revs and specs (Toyota NZ sent it over), but I gave it to the new owner. I can't remember even a fraction of what it said, but there were more differences between the rev1-2 than rev2-3!!!! (on suspension only btw - clearly there was a lot of differences on the facelift cars in the other areas).
  21. Rev1's were the handful- rev2's had new engine position (canted forward a bit more), and more composed. The Supra is deffo easier to catch, but more of a handful to start with, and you really feel it's weight on the track, especially under braking. I ran mine at 1.1 bar on track, and at 0.9 on the road. I used the Blitz SBC single solinoid b/c, which was great. I had HKS manifold, downpipe, decat and cat-back system, which sounded really nice, even for a four banger. My modified MR2 would eat my stock JDMA Supra in almost every situation, and imo a more rewarding drive.
  22. Another vote for the E-manage, wouldn't say no to the T/G E01 too. Does anyone do A-pillar kits for 52mm gauges?
