  1. Missed this. For the space heads, I found a youtube adaptation of the BBC's space race- I missed this first time around as I didn't have Sky+ at the time: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Wyi1mluwSNI&feature=PlayList&p=9D713A5B51AD0263&index=0&playnext=1
  2. Bored out to 1500. Have your wink back
  3. There's 5 hours between us and Eastern.
  4. Is that not a case of increased demand vs decreased supply? I read the old mkivsupra.net forum for years before I joined this new one in 2005 and hardly anyone had done the conversion on the old style forum, where's in 2008 it seems every bugger has done or is planning to do the conversion but 6-speeds are thin on the ground, so thin that I'd be looking to supraforums for the parts with so many 6 speeders swapping the TH400's and other drag racing boxes. MVP sell brand new v160's for $5499 (shipping excluded) with a year warranty from Toyota. I'm surprised non of the traders on either side of the pond sell transmission conversion kits, even if they don't include the box itself.
  5. Drivetrain stuff, especialy diffs, and it goes through suspension components like nothing else. Cooling system isn't that great either.
  6. My parents have one- it's woeful. Great load lugger and it's bailed me out of fixes a good few times but it's a heap and imo you should consider something Japanese for the same money. It's the most unreliable car to ever grace my parents driveway (that's an easy 50 cars)
  7. Depending on the exchange rate you could get them from Toyota USA for less. Pick an Eastern state if ordering by phone due to time differences though.
  8. 1200kg? ££££££'s. You'll be choosing components in grams lol.
  9. Sod that for a laugh! Three car-killer tracks, December, 20 minutes of budget heroics, in one group... I'd go to spectate though!
  10. There are more than a few 500bhp Hyabusa engines which are 1500s. I wouldn't be suprised if it was a genuine 400bhp car. I think I'd be most concerned about the gearbox lasting.
  11. Bloody hell he's done it to a Cobra! That's going to cost some money. A chap on the VW Vortex site did more or less the same thing a few years ago (about the same time as the building sand 'porting' & S2K super cold camshaft N02 injector kit)
  12. The Bentley looks like a VAT fraudsters choice of wheels as standard, but that thing looks like an Islamabad-Bradford sex slave trafficker's.
  13. Right, get the car and the box back and transport them to a garage with a good reputation, I'd use DSA in Aylesbury if it was me, and ask them to look at your box and how best to resolve it.
  14. Do you have the car and is it in one piece? Out of interest do you have the entire forum on your ignore list?
  15. Hi. Must be a real bitch having a roof off with palm trees and sunshine, blue skies lol! Looks nice there.

    Wow!

I will never tire of looking at your avatar Rice Rocket!
  17. Assuming the marques haven't gone bust first... I would imagine there will be exemptions or they will just average it like they do C02.
  18. Could you expand on this, if possible.
  19. The Soarer is a true twin turbo isn't it? Could the manifolds be used on a Supra for a big twins conversion?

    Job Title

Be creative. I'm a printer but I could call myself an Offset Lithographist!
  21. It seems that they couldn't refinance their loans, their current terms were due for renewal. They had a £1bn of revenue but £385m of debt but a share price of almost zero. There is a lot of other companies in the same boat and it isn't necessarily due to a bad business model but because they can't repay their debts in this current time, where's they could afford to 18 months ago when credit was cheaper.
  22. They can if the chassis is bent or major damage to structural items.
