Moving house so clearing out everything, found a set of J-spec turbos I bought 4 years ago for a project that I never had time for. They came of a 60k 1993 BPU car & will need rebuilds as iirc Tubby2 died of oil starvation. If anyone wants them then they can collect them FOC or they are going in the the skip by next weekend.

Insurance moves very fast, as Soop Dog points out over a six week period. That's just too fast for me and imo you'd need to be a trader or have time to watch the screens. Also if AIG is wound up they'll take a lot of people with them. We've got shares in Barcley's, at one point thy were worth quite a bit, as of 5pm yesterday they were almost worthless. If you've got some money that you don't mind losing they'd be worth a long term punt as Barcley's will probably be one of the stronger banks for a generation.

Would it not be easier just to say that you like TSIII kits, as that's all you're left with once the naff-ness has been removed.

Wouldn't surprise me, even though the thing has been in development for 10 years and is probably due a facelift Toyota would be mad to put it into production when car sales are down 45% on average. Who is going to spend £200,000 on a Toyota Lexus in todays financial climate. Also remember that Goodwin forfeited some of his salary and bonuses as a goodwill gesture and asked Brown if that would be all and Brown said yes that's ok. You do know while Brown was still Chancellor that one of his advisers sat on the board of RBS while Goodwin's remuneration was discussed and OK'd? The financial media reported Goodwins pension would be £700kpa last October, but the Government has waited 6 months before making a big deal about this- why - spin, to cover up that Brown's time at the treasury has come back to bite the UK very hard on the arse with £1.5tr of liabilities (and this is growing with some insane Gov backed CDS for toxics). Also, Goodwin's pension has come from 25-30 years of working, not just the few years at RBS. Did you really think he started a pension plan at 45?
