Hello to all
Been to work on nights, finished on time and left all being fine, then i spot the snow starting to fall, thinking that it would be a passing shower carried on as normal to the motorway.
Half way home i find myself crawling along the motorway with the snow getting thicker and thicker !! Not wanting to stop i carried on and got off at the first junction just to find the snow getting thicker still.
Being the first time driving in the snow with her the first small rise in the road and she started to go sideways - didnt help with the stupid mupet in the car behind a meter off my bumper, came to a stop and after a few false starts managed to get going again.
Short lived to the next rise in the road. After not getting anywhere fast a very kind fireman came to give me a push, being still a couple of miles from home decided to leave her in a park and ride only to find - Shut On Sundays !! Ended up leaving her at the entrance and walked away.
Five minutes down the road and the heart took over - couldnt leave her on her own and decided to try another way home. Off again and after a few more scares and sideways moves and 20 mins pulled upon the drive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What would normaly be a 40 mins ride home this morning took 2 hours and am far from tired anymore.
Dont know how i didnt have an accident or at least hit a kerb but got there in the end - anyone out today please be so so so careful
If i ever see one single snow flake in the sky again the keys are staying firmly in the pocket
