  1. Here’s a one question IQ Test to help you decide how you should spend the rest of your day. A mute wanted to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one’s teeth, he successfully expressed himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase was made. Now if a blind man wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself? Think about it first before scrolling down for the answer. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > He opens his mouth and says. “I would like to buy a pair of sunglasses” If you got this wrong - please turn off your computer and call it a day. I’ve got mine shutting down right now.
  2. Seen a Chinese take-away called "Hong Key" wouldn't get away with that in some parts of the country!
  3. like anything, when you do it all the time it becomes a lot easier.
  4. Sorry to hear about this but glad it's getting sorted out quickly. Out of interest who are her insurers. If they're proficient paying out to get your car sorted they may be good to deal with.
  5. Too many specialists around that seem to know feck all when it comes down to it. Tell him to join up with the guys at GTROC for advice. Some top guys on this site who really know their stuff about the Skyline.

    best tyres

Didn't rate the Pirellis at all on the Supra. 1st choice for me would be Bridgestone SO3s or if not then the Good Year Eagle F1s.
  10. Don't know about it dumping the excess itself but personnally I wouldn't put the oil you drained back in Any contamination in the oil would, I think, give it some serious grief
  11. Just round the corner for me so I'll be going as long as the weather is good.
  12. Random animals on the road can be lethal! Could've been very messy if you'd hit the Wierdest one I've come accross was down in Somerset. Just done a delivery to a pub in the middle of nowhere and heading back towards the motorway when a van coming the other way gave me a flash and thumbs down. Slowed down a little being cautious, rounded a corner and there, sitting in the middle of the road looking at me was...... A KANGAROO!!!!! BTW (thread hi-jack) How's the winter project coming on Jez?

  15. I had a Ford Explorer for three years, never had any trouble and loved it. The only quirk was that the local dealer couldn't deal with it as their ramp wasn't rated high enough so had to go to the commercial dealer but that was just round the corner from work so wasn't an issue. Loads of aftermarket stuff available from USA on the internet. V reg 2000 models are going for around the £7k mark
  16. Those push in temporary caps are ok for short term but will not pass MOT with it fitted.
  17. . Alarm goes off at O 400 hours. Whats the O stand for? Oh my god it's early!
  18. Minimum requirement to be paid out in redundancy (after two years worked) is one week basic money per year worked raising to 1.5 weeks per year for every year you've been over 40. for example: if you'd worked for a company for 5 years and were aged 43 you'd get 6.5 weeks money. How many people are being made redundant? Have you had your consultation period yet? Is the consultation being delt with by workforce representative, union representative or individually (over a certain amount of redundacies and a representative has to be elected by law)? I hope that you are a member of a union as this is where they pay off. Our recognition has just been approved by the CAC because the company was refusing to recognise the union but was too late for the consultation. However we've two claims going to tribunal at the moment. One for Insufficient consultation and another for unfair selection (for the guys actually made redundant). We've just had redundancies at our place and they paid out the minimum allowed which is typical of our company. I'm still in but we think that it's only going to be a temporary measure until April time when we feel that the company will be shutting down our distribution centre.
  19. Welcome to the forum. I was in Chimay for King of Euope drag racing last June and loved Belgium. I'm hoping to get over there for the event again next summer all being well.
  20. Yet another Milton Keynes Supra owner Welcome to the forum Ian
  21. From 2006 Britain will be the first country where every journey by every car will be monitored Britain is to become the first country in the world where the movements of all vehicles on the roads are recorded. A new national surveillance system will hold the records for at least two years. Using a network of cameras ................. independant online .
  22. If you wanted to get a picture of your Supe with the castle in the background then I would have to recommend trying The Long Walk as in pics below (2nd picture shows Rolls' on the walk itself but don't think that you'd get away with that). I'd be interested in coming along to this meet too (weather dependant though).
  23. The drum intro to Blue Monday (rest of the track is cr4p though)
