Hello, I know what you mean about finding one close to home. I got mine from leigh-on-sea which meant one journey down to see it and another a week later to pick it up. I didn't know about this forum until after I bought it. It was the first one I viewed and if I knew then what I have since learned about Supra's (not that much by the way) I maybe would have looked at a few more as there are lots about. On another note... the evo 8. Are you a member of the lancer register? A guy I work with has a nice evo 6 and was wondering if you have been on the Whitby run. His forum name is T15 MAF

I work on a chemical factory which produces acetone and I agree with the above, wouldn't put it near my car either. Just my two penny's worth.

Saw this yesterday parked up about 3:30pm when leaving JJB gym. On an 'L' plate, looked standard from the outside apart from the Mugen Power??? Badge on the boot. Thought that was Honda. Any Takers???

Haven't seen this one before. Only caught a glimps of the rear. Heading away from asda Bilton on the Jubilee dual carriageway. Was about 4 cars behind at the roundabout.

Not sure will have to have a look at the reciept again. It wasn't done at a Citroen garage, a place called Savoy Tyres... bit like a quick fit type of place. If it doesn't get better in the next few weeks I will have to take it in again. Thanks for the reply.

Just had to have my girlfriends full exhaust system replaced on her 1.1 (Beast) Saxo as the original was rusting to bits from the down pipe to the back box. The guy who fitted it warned me that it would sound a bit 'raspy' for the first hundred miles or so. That is a complete understatement the car sounds aweful. Just wondering if anyone knows if it should sound 'raspy' or is he tellin porky's. I have been using it instead of the Supe to go to work in to rack some miles up and see if things improve to no avail. I would have thought that if the full system was new it would have sounded like it did when she bought it from new. Any thoughts?? Cheers Chris

That could have been my supervisor, he lives near there but I don't think he is on this forum.

My mate said he saw 4 Supras in Beverly, not sure where abouts but was following one another. 2 Black, 1 Red and 1 Green I think he said. He was in a Blue Evo VI.

Yeah, was picking my significant other up from work. Had to go to Victoria Dock to drop some stuff off too. Chose the wrong way and was stuck in Traffic for about 3/4 of an hour. Did notice that it needed a slight wash. Nice car though.

Hi all, Sorry if anyone is going to repeat themselves but I am pretty new to this. I am having a similar problem with a slipping clutch on my '93 NA. Where can I get hold of a RPS Sport Street clutch and would any decent garage fit it for me. Was going to go to a local place called quick clutch and get everything from there but you guys seem to know more than they would (as they specialise in citroen). Appologies again Chris

I live in Sutton, but work at BP Chemicals near Hedon, so thats where you might have seen me. Mine is a Silver manual N/A, after market exhaust of some type and Axia 18's but can't find anything about them on the net. Had it nearly a year now and it's time for service, MOT and Tax. Not the best time just after Christmas.
