C5 SUP

The police in Hull / Humberside have two marked Impreza's and a Black one. For some reason the marked ones do look nice. Heard a rumor that they were going to get evo 8's but they didn't handle as well as the Subaru's. Having said that they had some of the older Impreza's before that and before that an Escort Cosworth, now that was a nice car or at least thats what I thought when I was 15ish. Yet the area is still apparently one of the worst places to get your car nicked.... amongst other things.

Does anyone have a spare standard door speaker kicking around they would like to sell. Must be in good working order. Cheers Chris

I went to Magaluf when I was 18 (now 25) and the female to bloke ratio was great. But one of my mates went last year and said the ratio had become poor or as he called it "a sausage fest". There are alot of Hen weekends / parties out there apparently though. I took around £1000 for two weeks and had to borrow some cash from Mr pete visa towards the end. Think 600 should easily cover it though for a week. The tour operators usually have a watered down version of 18-30's type thing going where you can pay a little money and get free entrances to clubs for the week which should save you a few bob.

Just going to use the original wiring, what's already there. Thats all I did with the first one. If your looking at your car from the front, get down and look through to the radiator. The horn should be on the far left hand side. Mine has wire mesh covering the hole, but if yours doesn't you may be able to reach through with a bit of difficulty and change them without removing the bumper. Thats still as clear mud though isn't it.

Yeah sorry about that, just read it back to myself, makes little sense.

Haven't got any pictures mate, but my second horn is located behind the bumper/lower air grill on the drivers side. Got the other one fitted but will have to take the front bumper off to fit the other. Hope that helps a little.

Good morning, I have just purchased a TRD rad cap for my NA, but it does not fit at all. I have done a search and in one thread Nic says that TRD do two types of rad cap. Does anybody have any pics of both types of TRD caps as the supplier may have sent the wrong one... or I may have an aftermarket rad. Cheers, Chris.

Darren, Are you planning on meeting up somewhere to drive down? My mate with the evo 6 is working but another mate might be coming with his Impreza PPP, will let you know. My car has to go to the garage thursday as I have spotted oil on my drive where the rear drivers side wheel is. Think its shocks as the otherside was leaking and was replaced when I had the mot done. Should be back for sunday though.

Got my Nur spec r from mkivstore, can highly recommend it and them. Fitted it yesterday and removed the baffle. I don't think the neighbours will be too pleased when I wake them up when I finish this night shift. Still got both my cats in too....... at the moment.

Was that the event you get told the info about the day before!! On the matter of Chavs, was in a line of traffic doing the speed limit (30) behing everyone else and some chav in his "Fezzy" was about 2ft off my rear bumper. Why do they do this??

Has anyone else had the problem of rust on the rear hatch. I have two spots either side coming from the window seal. Just wondering if it is something that can be fixed at a bodyshop and how much hassle (£££) it may be. Cheers Chris

Hi Simon, Unfortunately my sister reversed into my passenger door last Sunday. Going to need a new door and there is a dent on the sill. Just saved some cash to get some skirts and spats after Christmas. Other than that things are good. Chris

As above about 13:20 this afternoon. Think it may have been Templewaters...... sorry I'm terrible with names can't remember it. And there was a "Safety" camera van at the bottom of the bridge.... glad I was behind an Impreza!!

On my way into town for a few beers Thursday night spotted two, First about 9 ish Black getting a Jetwash at the Sewell Garage on Robson Way (Sutton). The second one was parked on Holderness Road just up from The Green Man, only caught a glimps of it last minute.
