Iv rented cottages in the Lakes and in Devon (20 yards from the beach) so would recommend either. Iv never been married, but from what i have heard, you really only need a bed, to cram in as much sex as you can before she goes all frigid

I had the Fcon V on my car when it was BPU (it was on it when imported, and i didnt know until i removed carpets for painting) and every other TT or BPU TT owner i ever took for a drive commented how fast it was. If you change fuelling and ignition you can change the spool characteristics. When 2nd turbo came in when mine was BPU it felt insane. No juddering or issues though. IIRC, dont they also have a crude FCD effect? So maybe you fitting another may have confused it and led to juddering?

I missed this (and Ashes to Ashes) when it was on, are there any places i can watch it for free? Something similar to the semi excellent Five On Demand website that lets me catch missed FlashForward If not then any bargains anywhere for the box set?

Thats ok then To be fair it tends to be cheapo or badly DIY installed alarms that behave like that. I have had my Clifford on mine for years and its never false alarmed, Works well and integrates into the oem loom. It does have 'Blackjax' though, so you would hate it

*mental note not to take my car to CW* The oem horn sounds very gay, so you would cringe if it did go off. Anyone trying to steal it in a public area would be ridiculed though.

Not much point at BPU, and when you consider the well made Greddy unit a similar price with no rail, its clearly scrimped somewhere.

Looks like a bit of a cheap copy of a Greddy that is actually fairly expensive.

When you say 'big old' how old? I thought i remembered a thread about an older style Mercedes being mapped.

It depends how its been set up, safe or unsafe. Best bet would be to unplug it and take a few steady runs, see how it drives, see if it judders. Watch the boost though. I would say an hour on the dyno, runs with and without it plugged in would tell you if its safe or not.
