  1. Yeah noticed you had done a few battles. TD's are fine for when that 15 degrees isnt an issue, hiding in the bushes and sniping. To be fair, the Marder II and Stug III are good Tank Destroyers, as is the SU85 on the Russian side, not done many US TD's yet. Yeah, not often i get more than 3-4 a game, depends on the other team really. If you group with another 2 decent players and stick together it can be a great laugh. Yeah radio and skilled commander improve what you see.
  2. Wierd, iv seen the green tank colour thing, but never on all tanks. Some of the lowbie games can be a bit crap, with just kids blasting each other, but it can be ok at lower levels. Upper levels are either very easy or VERY hard. The only way to spawn with 0 ammo is to not remember to resupply or to not have auto resupply on 4 per mission is good With only 15 to kill, have a couple of guys doing 4 or 5 each will win a battle. Ill add you to my list
  3. I believe they are coming in the next patch. Also French tanks, and a new game called World of Warplanes (you will be able to use in game experience from the tank one to unlock more warplanes) Cool, ill add you to my friends list, my in game name is RobS80
  4. Yes mate they were, despite me putting in the advert that the Mk2 MGF doesnt have the same head gasket issues, and the VVC definately doesnt! Iv loved driving it, although only really had the top down maybe 5 or 10 days, I work shifts and drop it on the way home quite often as a chill out I think it is highly likely to be a new lady owner. Although its the 145 bhp VVc its really not what you would call fast unless you were graduating from a basic first car kinda thing.
  5. Sorry to hear that. How long had you been together?
  6. Whats not to get, you drive a tank and shoot people. Ok, you start off with only very basic tanks unlocked. You fight 15 vs 15. Starting with very early WW2 stuff and the more battles you win/more tanks you destroy/damage the more experience you get to unlock better tanks and upgraded guns, turrets and tracks. Its realistic damage and realistic tanks and their upgrades (you cant upgrade any one tank over and above what it would have really had during the war), it is supposed to be balanced too so you dont get starter tanks up against Tigers. Its a little bit addictive, but its nothing like as bad as WoW (although i play that too), always fun having an awesome battle, killing 5-7 other tanks and wondering what would have happened if you had the next gun unlocked etc.
  7. Had put it on ebay, and after a week of boring emails from Numpties, im dropping the price to £1300. Id rather someone who has a clue about cars in general had it rather than readvertise it on Ebay
  8. Been playing this since its Beta and wondered if anyone else on here plays? Im on the European server (there is only one) so if anyone fancies joining me in some battles let me know your name in the game as it were
  9. Price drop to £1300 which i think is pretty good considering age, mileage and condition
  10. Bought this in April for a nice summer car, but now looking for a bit of a change. 50,000 miles Half leather interior, VVC (Variable Valve Control) 145 BHP model, special VVC only alloys. MOT til May 2012, Tax til Nov 2011 Recently had suspension pump up, both cambelts, water pump, tensioners, and aux belt done. Full underbody reseal/wax New sports exhaust, replacement hood. Drives well and not too bad at all on fuel, averaging around 35 mpg (mix of town use on weekends and long run weekends) Few age related marks, parks weekdays in a busy multistory so has a few dings on the door as you often get with age. Drivers bolster is a bit worn but otherwise car is in good condition. EDIT - Now Looking for £1300 ono. PM me, email me at [email protected] or call me on 01709 544623 (Home) or 07725 147993 Only got a couple of pics which are attached
  11. Hehe, thought it may have been but it would have been a huge and epic fail if it had been someone else
  12. Similar to Homer, i regret my decision to try to do it all myself, especially when the quest for utter perfection takes over (install a part, remove it, paint it, reinstall it, remove it, chrome it, reinstall it, remove it, strip the chrome and leave it as it is!). I tried to buy parts individually from US and UK suppliers to mimic a BL kit and a BL fuel kit. To be honest i wish i had just bought a BL kit. Im considering buying another Supra next year and doing just that Or as stated above, buy one thats been done and improve if necessary (i.e if done in Japan, correct the crazy/wild mods they often think of! )
  13. I played the beta from October last year but i have not been on yet since it properly released.
  14. A single turbo Supra is one where both small turbos have been removed and replaced with a modern, larger, more efficient unit. More than just the turbo and exhaust etc needs to be changed, with engine management and fulling system upgrades too.
  15. Really? That is some awesome news matey, ill be putting in a fairly decent order end of the month
  16. Cheers Homer, iv had a squint through Ebuyer and Overclockers, but thats a good shout there. I may just end up waiting til end of next month and picking up a decent card. All i was doing was trying to go BPU with a used decat instead of forking out on a new one kinda!
  17. Yeah thanks, but most of the 'cheap' ones are cheap for a reason. Barely any point in going for a 'cheap' brand new one, if i can pick up a decent used one quite a lot cheaper. Not many PC enthusiasts shop at PC world for components.
  18. Possiibly a 560 Ti or a 480OC No worries matey, been offered a 512 Geforce Yeah PCIE Mike, thanks. Rob
  19. Does anyone have a cheap 1gb nvidia card i could buy, or even borrow for a month or so? Not too important how old it is as long as it works. Just until i buy myself a shiny new one next month!
  20. Down in Peterborough tomorrow (and in Sheffield all week for work) so i can drop it off tomorrow in Lincoln Peterborough areas
  21. Her fault entirely. You said though that you have mods not declared to the insco? They may well refuse to pay out at all, even if they are only cosmetic mods, if its a mod that is performance enhancing, they will likely use that to get out of paying out. Your car WILL be a 'write off' and likely Cat D, as it is in a bracket of 'uneconomical to repair' which isnt the same thing as 'cant be repaired' CAT D cars are worth significantly less resale wise. Since you will (hopefully) be going through her insurance, some of this is less important, as you SHOULD be 'put back to how it was pre-accident'. I hope for your sake that the car is in MOT, Tax and that the extra mods dont cause a problem, its possible they will do
  22. I am not angry Despite the fact i joined a local forum and its full of utter retards, and that every thread makes me want to drive round and shoot them! I do notice people are very quick to anger of late and often over the smallest of things that to me seem totally inconsequential.
