  1. Just had a look, but id have to pay a sub, and to be fair, there are already 2 unsold VVC's on there (although £400 more and with an extra 10k miles) but thanks for the suggestion.
  2. Price drop to £1300. Im looking at car sharing with a friend to work. £4 a day parking is a bit daft! Given ebay a rest for a while, gave Pistonheads a try, but only had 2 clear scam emails so far.
  3. Well, now you have put the pic up i see totally where you could be mistaken in thinking that was a supercharged Ford Falcon
  4. 'The interceptor' Blackie, iv told you, you are to short to be Mad Max.
  5. So why get a 'daily' that uses more fuel than it needs, that will ultimately make the aero feel slow? Seriously, slap yourself and get something thats going to be nice to drive in the winter. Even the Integra, which is by far the most sensible of the ones you have suggested, is going to be a torquey monster begging for modifications to be flown overnight from Japan, understeer in the wet, and make you wonder why you bothered. Why have 2 cars that use loads of fuel? You already said petrol is 140p a litre. Though it pains me to do it, i agree fully with Martin, just get something reliable and diesel for the winter that you can use to get to work in. It will be comfy and dry, warm and a pleasure to drive.
  6. You know what they say about the fool and his money.
  7. Just watching a few minutes of that was too much for me. I never had a problem with heights when i was younger, but recently i cant cope if im too far from the ground
  8. Im not sure of the model number but link below to one im 99.9% is the one (not sure mine is the mk1 or mk11) Purchased in Nov last year, used twice (never outside, just been testing with it, rest of the time its been in my Lowepro bag) I bought it with a EOS550D to use when i went back on the cruise ship, and to be fair, i hardly ever use the DSLR let alone this extra lens. Not sure i have the box (i think i do, ill have a look) £120 plus post (id prefer pick up or meet along a router, not sure id trust it in the post to be honest) http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/82235/show.html
  9. Water elbow with 2 x takeoffs welded up (single use only really, the ports are for TT) and drilled and tapped for Defi/HKS water temp sensor, Was chromed but needs redoing to be fair (pic to follow) - £20 posted since it needs rechroming.
  10. Scott i think its the small diameter one for the breather on the turbo side. IIRC i let the other K&N go with the IACV
  11. Mikalor clamp - £5 posted K&N Filter - goes on a breather on the back of the inlet manifold - £12 posted 'chock' (usually in foam in spare wheel) - seen better days so just post - £4 Swivel ends for RS components bonnet struts. The RS struts come with a cheap swivel, these are a slightly more expensive one (you can get a stainless one too) - 2 sets - £6 posted each No Niz carpets were harmed during the creation of this thread, open to offers on all items.
  12. Hi Pete, not seen you on here for ages! I know, lots of car for the money. Yeah the HG on even some newer MG/Rover engines still go even now, but the VVC is not nearly so susceptible as the earlier cars were.
  13. Yeah saw a lot of that, they used to use these Huge JCB's with long forks. I was just in the admin block.
  14. I wouldnt touch Copart with a long pole for barges Temped there once and a bigger team of muppets you couldn't hope to find!
  15. High rate of fire tanks are great, but you have to circle the other tank. Lowbie games you have no time to aim properly. I imagine the Tank destroyer was only bad as you may have been trying to kill a big medium/heavy tank. They can be good fun.
  16. Cheers Scott mate. Yeah im surprised. My uncle was just saying how surprising it is. Makes you wonder what an 80,000 mile 1.8 MPI standard one would fetch! Probably around £500!
  17. Bump - £1300, i go on holiday on Sunday, and ill put it up on ebay
