I would say no VIN number until a deposit is taken. Once had a car cloned by that info via an ad response. If he comes to look and is genuine, he will leave a deposit, take the VIN, do a HPI and job done. Most HPIs can be done from the reg alone so i would say its up to something. -

Hi Rob Im hoping to attend yes, depends on transport really! I shall look into the oil press. guage, i did have one but need to check if i have the sender unit. Its a Defi and doesnt have the control unit, so you would need to sort that. Rob

The Concorde incident, happened on takeoff. If the tyres and struts were ok on takeoff then i rather think they will be fine on landing!
