When i worked in car sales, there was a senior sales manager who had so little grasp of 'sales techniques' (or common sense!) that most of used to avoid him at all costs. He used to call people 'sunshine', say to people he didnt think were serious, 'what if i did it with £3000 off'? which then ruined any chance of a sale, as they would want it at the price he just said He was pretty daft!
