I suspect Brian means that an aftermarket ECU can normally maintain very accurate AFRs, and get closer to the 'ideal' so it seems odd that its been left really rich in many places, like a half arsed map. Yeah its safe, but there is safe and then there is wrapped in bubble wrap with a big cotton wool blanket and a large box safe... Could possibly be losing power

Wikipedia is inaccurate as its user edited (meaning anyone can change whats written!) The UK and import versions are about the same power, just the JDM were claimed at 276bhp due to the 'gentlemans agreement' in place in Japan at the time. -
