  3. Ahh the free driveaway insurance thing. The one thats only available for cars newer than 10 years old?
  4. Maybe if you go on Autotrader and have a look at all cars in your price range, by manufacturers you like, it would be a bit easier than randoms shouting out car brands for you to come up with obscure reasons why you wouldn't want one. Just saying
  5. There are daily insurance companies out there, but its expensive cover aint great So if its a Supra, i would suggest she hires a car from Enterprise or something. They do a Ka at like £20 a day and its insured.
  6. Could well be, no spark and a mis timed injection.
  7. Ahh ok. Yes an 87 Cosworth would have maybe needed it, and it wouldnt have blown the turbo within the first mile either With replacement turbos magazine fed into the engine bay presumably
  8. Not quite the same thing. Antilag is where the timing is set so that the spark occurs while the exhaust valve is open. This spins the turbo (and destroys it) On very old laggy turbos with huge, heavy steel internals this was ok, but reduced life. On modern turbos its not needed and is very bad for the turbo. 2 step is a secondary rev limit. Not so bad for the turbos, depending how its done (Bee R = bad, aftermarket ECU = good) Why specifically do you think you need it? This may help to guide you.
  9. Pacific Sun is well known to be awful. When i worked on the cruise ships, nobody wanted to be transferred onto it. Regularly gets like that.
  10. Anyone at all? Keep getting offers of £30 from dodgy 0 feedback ebay people. Rather sell to a normal forum member if possible. Up on ebay at £75, id accept £50 from anyone on here, plus £14 post (1st class recorded)
