  1. At its current price its a bargain. £30 bushes and investigate for wear and/or play causing the noise. Bish and Bash and Bosh
  2. Where the hell do you get a kit like that from? On a mere technicality the GT500 JGTC cars used a derivitivbe of the MR2 turbo 3sGTE
  3. Ah yes, noob error sorry 2600k i think will be my weapon of choice. Thing is there are so many 'compatible' boards for it that im totally bewildered.
  4. Couple more pics. Also updated 1st post - has Alpine CD, CD Changer and satnav.
  5. Yeah i am frankly amazed how nice it is Cheers Paul Yeah i wish id had it before Christmas in all the snow! Im just outside Rotherham and free all week
  6. Not quite matey Id kept this for any new car i bought not having a stereo, but i think most modern cars have their OEM ones left in. Got my eye on a Golf GT TDI and the OEM stereo is good enough
  7. No worries matey, hoping to get it sent today, possibly tomorrow.
  8. I bought this as a towcar and general runabout around 2 months ago. In that time i have repaired one or two faults and fitted heated leather seats in place of the worn cloth seats. I looked around for a while to find a decent one, as all the ones on ebay, autotrader and pistonheads seemed to be 'lovely car but xxx has failed....easy fix..etc' Buy a P38 with any electrical faults and its just an expensive paperweight! The cars body electrical control module is a very expensive fix and almost all faults will eventually trace back to that. Basic details for now. 129,000 miles. Smooth 2.5 BMW diesel engine. All electrics working perfectly - well specced - cruise, 4xEW, electric air suspension, ESR, PAS, ABS, 4x4, climate + AC, black heated leather. Alpine INA-333R Satnav/CD/6 CD Changer Genuine Range Rover Sideskirts, floor mats, lamp protectors and bull bar MOT til June. Tax expires end of March but i can put 6 months on. I replaced seats, gaitors, centre binnacle, steering components. Previous owner before me replaced tyres, clutch, suspension components, brakes. £3000 ono.
  9. Ahh i get your comment about a PCI SATA controller now Could you fire me a PM with a price for i7 2500, suitable motherboard and 8GB suitable RAM please matey. Just weighing up some options.
  10. Is the Sandybridge problem fixed now Daman? Do any of the Sandy Bridge processors have hyper threading like the I7 950? Just checked, yeah they do
  11. Im not going to buy one, so dont worry It just might move us on towards electric cars that actually have a realistic range etc
  12. Just seen this. Amazing dedication http://www.therichtimes.com/wordpress/2011/02/14/the-worlds-smallest-engraving-on-a-razor-blade-reads-nothing-is-impossible-and-is-available-for-47500-pounds/
  13. Yes i agree, the name is terrible!
  14. I had an RPS 6 puck on mine Scott. Granted i didnt do many miles, but it was smooth on uptake (despite half the distance i drove being unmapped and frankly not that nice) just heavier than OEM 'feel'
