  1. I was kidding Someone will take a listen and prove what iv said is wrong, happens all the time
  2. I would imagine that would be the case. You could always do a video if you like. Im sure its not too late in the day
  3. Oh no, you didnt buy that Cat A deathtrap did you? Oh, no its ok, you didnt.
  4. I imagine they used some kinda paste, some of which could have blown out. I would be reluctant to take it to any national tyre/quickfit type place as they will just try to push to fit a new exhaust and generally bodge things up
  5. Was it fitted recently? Are you seeing where im going with this?
  6. Did you get the decats/restrictor ring fitted?
  7. I would imagine its exhaust related. Did your car have an undertray and does it currently have one? Just thinking it could have come loose, and caught the exhaust on its way out.
  8. Jon, the NA and TT non VVti are OBD1, but good luck with the FTO.
  9. Fair point that. Might it be worth leaving this insurance policy running and then change vehicle on it when he gets the new car? Not sure how legal that is.... but only for 2-3 momnths it may not be so bad.
  10. To be fair, they have had it back once by the sounds, in that position i wouldnt wanna take it back there that much.
  11. Boostlogic do one, so do ATI. Ebay and cheapo ones are not recomended at all.

Assuming its 50 yen, No not really
  14. Yes, i called them up and asked them to provide proof of NCB and they sent it next day. I would do the same in your case, especiallty if its only one year, just to be sure.
  15. I was told NCB lasts for up to 2 years. Not sure how accurate that is, but my 18 month old NCB was provided by my last insurers and accepted by my new ones.

    Help!!!

But the part actually fits, and works as its meant to. In a normal kinda of fashion, and lasts roughly the right amount of time.

Erm, Toyota? If its the balljoint on the suspension arm, then its not sold seperately, and is advised you replace them in pairs. If its the track rod end, then also Toyota, IIRC available without a track rod
  18. Ebay has gone all gay recently. Seller cannot leave negative feedback. I dont know if i can dispute it but i will do! Especially since im refunding almost all of it.
  19. Exactly. He even wanted postage refunding. Best part is that ebay now asks if you will offer a refund, and i had clicked NO! I told him i would refund the item but not the postage, which caused him to claim he was going to take me to small claims and allsorts. I pointed out that i could rightfully send the item back and refund nothing, so he graciously accepted the item only. I am now likely to get my first negative feedback from him :/
  20. Yeah, i imagine all that sun, sand and sea gets you down!
  21. Tell me about it. I try to advertise on here first. Just sold an item the other day on there, some guy posted it back to me cos he had 'changed his mind' i was like
  22. Yeah definately, some of the sideways was more for show than go
  23. This was just linked on Facebook by Top Gear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMEAWa2EvEs&feature=player_embedded#at=98
