  1. cheers m8, yeah I might hold you to that lol...:)I can honestly say I've never felt this gutted about selling a car but on the other hand am looking forward to finding a nice GTR;)
  2. :(Well she is now gone to a new home:(I'm sure the new owner will look after her just as much as i did...It's definatly the best car I have had the pleasure of owning, and if it doesn't pan out with return to Datsun power, who knows I may return:) cheers Jon
  3. lol cheers m8, yes I am obsessed or possessed, not sure which:d Not looking forward to seeing someone drive off in her though:(
  4. thankyou m8, I will pay you later:d:D
  5. Thanks Brian, yeah the aston badges are long gone, what on earth possessed someone to do that, well:taped: Still has the colour camera on the roof, but this can always be removed, I just never got around to it. cheers Jon
  6. Great, great, thanks M8..
  7. cheers Guys:) Thanks Mike, I know that when it goes I will surely miss it... I know one thing I would certainly do the supra experience all over again. cheers Jon
  8. Cheers Mike;), I do have my eye on one, but things went a bit pear shaped my end. But I aim to be in one real soon;) Test driven a couple, and I can honestly say there is nothing else in my budget that really floats my boat as they say. I was offered (half joking) a swap for an E39 M5, but you just cant play with them as much as jap stuff, unless your pockets are like black hole lol;)
  9. Ok then, 15000 no offers:) I bet it would still be forsale May of next year, I think prices have been affected lately throughout the performance cars market not just supra's.. cheers Jon:)
  10. I'm running the standard ECU, but with the VPC, the SAFC 2 is just used for fine tuning...To be honest I was going to use an EMU, but after some consideration, I would go with a standalone ECU with the 650cc ijectors..But for what I wanted it drives perfect, so I didn't see the point, and this is partially reflected in the price.. cheers Jon
  11. I will m8, but IMHO I would prefer a quick sale, rather than start off high and keep lowering to get it shifted cheers Jon;)
  12. cheers Gaz, yeah back to some good old Datsun power, I'll give him a run for his money.. TBH I like using the car to go on long trips with the kids, rather than me just on me todd and now they are bigger, short of chopping there legs of at the knees (due to back seat), it's just not possible, so GTR, R33 in particular will suit my needs better, plenty of room in them, nothing else takes my fancy really. Have looked at the aristo but it just doesn't do alot for me.. cheers Jon;)
  13. SOLD:violin: Well the time has come to part with the best car I've owned to date, and probably will be the quickest I'll ever own:innocent: I have enjoyed every minute of ownership, and I'm only really parting with her, as I have my heart now set on a GTR:taped: I've spent a lot of time and money sorting out a few faults when I bought her around 2.5 years ago... The engine rebuild was carried out at TDI, at around 80K miles, and was done in preparation for a single turbo upgrade. It has FSH from toyota then later TDI, and was looked after by Leon at JPS before I took over.. I converted to single turbo Dec 2006, and performance has been faultless:eyebrows: Alot of parts have been replaced also less than 7K miles ago: Front discs with Hawk pads fitted allround Standard shocks replaced with yellow billies Both rear wheel bearings/hubs replaced Complete overhaul of rear diff including LSD, beerings and seals Fuel filter, oil & filter every 2.5K miles Engine mounts Clutch replaced and both rear seals were changed on the gearbox and bushes too, refilled fresh V160 oil. 15. :)anybody have an engine cover for the underside, (not the one that sits under the front bumper though)... cheers Jon:)
  16. so what exhaust manifold you using? I bet it's not an XS power manifold is it? cheers Jon
  17. Ok, only I noticed the clutch disk is a sprung one, and I was led to believe you can only use an un-sprung disk with the stock flywheel..
  18. Good job, so what flywheel you using and pressure plate? cheers Jon:)

    Audi S2 avant

yep it will be the 5 cylinder engine 2.2 turbo from the good old quattro... Porshe breathed on the Audi S2, which was known as the 'RS2', power went from standard 250bhp (S2) to 315bhp (RS2), but with subtle styling and porsche brakes all round, very rare quick cars..so they command much higher price tags between 10 & 20K.. cheers Jon
  20. Glad you made it home ok m8:)....Perish the thought off brakes failing at J34:omg:, that would be anyones worst nightmare, if you need a hand give me a shout...Will be checking mine also:blink:
  21. lol You can forget them kinda thoughts pal, thats only for 'very special' occasions:p:d was down in top field again my luver, visiting old folks in Gloucester;) I will bob round at weekend m8;)
  22. :DI know m8, I need to "ave a word with myself" Pop round and talk some sense in to me:innocent:
  23. lol, can I have a think about that m8, and i'll get back to you:taped: I still haven't come to my senses yet, keep thinking would be a real sleeper with a single kit on it:innocent:
