  1. Sorry bud been on me Xmas hols to see the old folks;) pm's replied to..
  2. i got to admit I got the ally welding for nowt, through my work, but it should'nt cost anymore than say £15-£20, as I say it's just blobing up the 2 x 10mm holes that are left... I will get some pics m8 very shortly..
  3. just recently performed this mod myself, and if you can find an ally welder someplace, if you cut of the sensor/ motor flanges close to the body then file them down smooth all thats left is a 10mm hole either side.. I then got the holes welded up, then smoothed over as per pics on mkiv.com looks so much better cheers Jon..
  4. Due to a slight upgrade, up for grabs is a full hks front mount intercooler which is the type S kit Generally very good condition, no boost leaks at all, comes complete with all hoses, hardpipes, couplers, hose clips, brackets, expansion bottle, power steering cooler (relocation brackets)... The only slight bit of marking is the bottom left on the intercooler itself as seen in the pic, but this happens to fall behind the front bumper anyway;) comes with everything as pictured open to any offers (yeah I know we are all skint:rolleyes: ) via PM or whatever:D cheers Jon
  5. hey good job done Rob, that is indeed the hardest part done & dusted... cheers Jon;)
  6. after an AEM air filter for my single project, anyone have one available with a 4" inlet?? (traders?) cheers Jon;)
  7. Hi Paul How much for the Apexi ITC I see you put offers but what are you wanting for it?
  8. Yeh, I've never seen that before, would be great if you could stick it up..
  9. cheers fellas, I do feel quite relieved now that the twins are off lol..I think my wallet is also quite relieved:innocent:
  10. maybe in some instances yeah, but I felt that the key to the whole removal job was the EGCV, as once I removed the most awkward nut on the top of the EGCV, (which incidentally with mine being a uk car had the ABS/TRAC pump in the way) it was pretty straight forward..
  11. no worries Graham..i'm only going for a small setup as I prefer to have as little lag as possible, and felt that a 61 would be great starting point..From what I've read on here I think the fueling side would need to be looked at to progress to a 67mm>, maybe sometime in the future.. I've gone for a precision turbo and have started to collect some bits & pieces, manifold, downpipe, wastegate etc.. cheers Jon..
  12. cheers Gaz just couldn't resist the challenge m8, really looking forward to assembling all the bits when then turn up, and doing some fabrication work.. cheers Jon..
  13. can't wait lol...I blame you anyway because if turns out anywhere near as good as your setup I will be chuffed to bits m8;)
  14. [sHOCK][/sHOCK] while I'm on with a few other 'small' jobs, I thought it would be the time to ditch the twin tubs:eyebrows: been doing lots of searching about how to dismantle them but crikey what an ass of a job, I think I've spent about 7 hours in total over the past couple of days.. Once I got the EGCV off it wasn't too bad from there on and I managed to remove the lot, in that turbos left attached to the manifold.. such a relieve to remove off the car:blink: so now look forward to receiving a load of early xmas pressys of all the parts required and get on with the single install.. cheers Jon..
  15. wanted a stock 6 speed UK TT Dual mass flywheel... preferably new, gonna see what Mr Manley can do for me too.. cheers Jon.
