  1. Worn gear stick cradle bushes, makes shifting hard. Best to change to solid billet bushes. Change gearbox oil to Royal Purple Synchromax, 2 ltr needed.
  2. Quite a fierce 4 pot Mitsubishi Evo engine. It was the gearbox that decided to let it's inners out.

  5. I think a Turbo Tegra 9.9 which blew head Gasket. Yes we are mate.
  6. Well guys, the car drove there and back home with 10.85 et 137mph Our first problem was Pod ran out of C16 race gas and only had C14. So we had no choice but to use the C14, which meant the fueling will be all out. Yasir had to remap the fueling after every run and we had only 4 runs. First run we got 12et, on the last run we got the 10.85 sec, Yasir was a bit disappointed as there was loads more in it, but time ran out. So watch this space......
  7. Yep, all good fun. Yasir going to be gentle when launching. We will be happy if we can get 2 good pulls and 1 last heavy pull.
  8. Update and about to leave for Pod. "What a crazy day, started working on the car at 10am Saturday and finished at midnight. First outing on the road, the 5th pull in 4th gear at 5000rpm 4th gear broke. We ended up fitting another S9B box which was from a bad source, wouldn't select 1st and 2nd. So had to end up taking that back out, and stripping down both to make one. Once that was all done, we done a quick road tune which was quite pointless no traction in any gears. So will have to finish up at the track Sunday".
  9. Thanks guys . Our customers bought this car of his mate who imported it from USA, the friend could not get the car running properly and gave up as the car had a lot of issues. When we got the car we striped the engine and were very pleased the build was of high quality. The biggest problem was the whole wiring and fuel/injector set up, so scraped that and started a fresh build. The spec is- Benson built B18c CP pistons & manley turbo tuff rods 10:7 compression race port & polish B16 head Ferrea valvetrain Skunk2 Pro1 cams Full Race Twin Scroll Top Mount Manifold Garrett GT4294R with 1.28 Exhaust Housing Hondata S300 The weakest link now is the gearbox and drive shafts. £££££ We shall see how she holds at Pod this Sunday.

  11. Really happy for my Son, after a lot of hard work and hours into this car. Where finally happy to let this beast out on the track for testing this Sunday. 736hp @ 31psi on ID1000s. There's still a lot of room for improvement. At wheels 31psi VP CI6

  14. Not very loud (i think its 98db?), hence i bought the above one for my car as my existing set up is loud. Found this fly by vid -
  15. Dam good cars. Have swirl flaps removed as priority. A remap totally transforms the car. Recommend Autologic remap. Check front wishbones have no play in ball joints, as M sport ones cost Aprox £500 a pair. Full history a big plus. Give me a shout for any help.
