Yeah I got mine from Envy. Motul 5.1 Question: Is Halfords 5.1 brake fluid going to be the same as in quality wise etc?

Anyone found a kit which fits the Supra brake fluid res tank and its not the normal screw on. Is it possible to bleed the system with the wheels on ?(ie see properly for bubbles etc) As I did it last night with the wheels off after doing the pads and caliper overhaul, but just want to give it the once around just to be sure. However test drove it last night and the wheels are on. Just don't want to do the extra work wheels off, wheels on..

Yeah I heard the 330d is quicker than a Type R aswel. Really wanted the AWD though for the bad weather. I think it would be safer for the misses having the 4WD and good brakes. Yeah 25k is top top of the pound scale. I agree through, having an R34 and then to put that milage on it would just be silly.

The Leon AWD? Budget up to around 25k but would like it to be a lot lower WRX a lot slower than the STI?

Hi all, Trying to find a replacment for the Megane dielsel daily driver. Getting a bit bored of looking now as I am really not sure what to get. I just start looking at something like a Reliant Robin and then end up looking at Ferrari's It's going to be the daily driver, so reliable and half decent running costs should be good, but average will do. Need to travel about 140 miles a day in the week. I also want performance and AWD - therefore I have been looking at A4's/EVO's and IMPREZZA's Evo's are out because of the stupid service intervals. Test drove an '07 WRX STI and it was okay. Bit raw maybe not for daily driving as much as the A4 but it does have the better performance and I kind of liked it. Any views or any other suggestions? I even looked at Skylines. I am useless at getting normal daily drivers. But the misses has said get what I want now which has really buggered me. PLEASE HELP!

How hard is it to change the clutch fluid and where is the drain plug for it? Is it also an easy job like diff oil change or a bit more involved like brake fluid change and watch for air bubbles etc?

I have been taken around the track in a supped up Focus RS with a rally driver driving and I must say.... It was as slow as shit..

Well I am still trying to do this on and off. Had a little go again today. I managed to get the main side piston in by dismantling the caliper and putting it on an axle stand then lowering the car onto it.. Bit cowboyish but it did the trick After the initial couple of mm's it then went in the rest of the way with the G-Clamp. Now both pistons are re-tracted. However my next questions is how do I test that both pistons are freely moving or normal? Also, when the brake pedal is depressed should both pistons move in equaly or is it most common that the main piston moves in first but if you try and push this one back in the other piston starts to move? Sorry if it does not make much sense, just trying to see how I can check they are working properly as I have a feeling they are not operating as they should.

Chris.. Not quite sure I get what you are on about there boyo.. One is stuck out the other one is pritty flat and not extended at all. The one thats stuck is the one thats on the wheel arch side of the caliper if that makes sense. Not the one facing the outside.

After I removed the hose yes some come out.

I am changing the front and rear pads at the moment as they have never been done since I have had the vehicle and it just felt like they needed doing etc. First rear lot were fine. But the second rear is proving to be a problem. I have removed the caliper and old pads, pins etc and just pushed the brake a bit to check the pistons were moving freely just like I did the other side. They seemed to move, well the one side anyway. So I then tried to push them back in with a g-clamp. The f*c*er aint moving at all and I have tightened it so much I think the next step is the clamp is going to snap as its bending as it is. Anyone have any ideas on what to try? Its not a MASSIVE clamp but its pritty heavy duty and no problem with the other caliper. I have also removed the fluid hose, so the caliper is totally removed from the car.

Wonder if they do something like that but with the key cards like what you get with the Renaults.

Come up against a Red one on the A470 near Merthyr today. I think it was a 340MR. Was two people in the EVO and just me in the Soop. He joined at a roundabout and I thought he may go for it. I joined the RB after him and moved into the fast lane the other side of the RB. I saw some black smoke out of his exhaust just as I put my foot down to pass him. Anyways, manage to pass him and start gaining speed. Got up to 140 leptons before having to brake for cars in front. However from my glances in the mirror he seemed to be stuck on my ass. Now I know I cant judge the distances behind that well, as the misses in the megane I dont think looses ground as fast as i'd like, but when we get home the misses said I flew away from her. All in all, not sure about it but it was defo looking like he was keeping with me. Very shocked really especially when there were two people in the EVO and just me in mine.

We could probably get 5 togeather I reakon. But would need a price before starting a group buy.

Nic, whats the price onm the laminated ones please for a facelift set? Does it include all the surrounds on the doors aswell?
