Hello all, After having my soop for about a two months now, I need to start thinking about tyres and what sizes/make to get so I can order them.. At the moment the sizes are as follows: Front - 245/35/18 Rear - 275/40/18 Uff, whats the make? umm Usally with all my others cars, MR2 etc I would always swear by Bridgestones, but if anyone has any better sugestions please let me know.. Also, is this the best tyre sizes/combo for my vechicle??

I would be very interested also.. Would be nice for a little scabbed taster if possible to..

Hi all, Does anyone know the round about top speed of J-spec TT's VVT-i's? I have worked out so far that in 6th gear at 4000 RPM I am doing 115 and increasing at 15MPH per 500 REVS. Therefore: 4000 RPM = 115 MPH 4500 RPM = 130 MPH 5000 RPM = 145 MPH 5500 RPM = 160 MPH 6000 RPM = 175 MPH 6500 RPM = 190 MPH 7000 RPM = 205 MPH I am just guesing here, as from 3000 RPM to 4500 RPM the figures seemed to be at a constant increase. These beasts actually do this kind of speed if red lined or am I just hoping Also, anyone got some 0-60 times and boost settings they were running at when they got the times? Cheers guys..

I have, I think ;-) not looked at it properly, a HKS FCD. I had my Blitz SD blabla running at 55% gain - 12. It has been boosting fine up around 1.2 1.3. However this morning I had the FCD kick in, as you say, loss in power etc etc. I think it was close to 1.4 this morning going by my gauges.. But until that happened the HKS has been letting me do good boost. J-SPEC. Would not be Rev limited or speed? By the way, any idea which I should belive, as my Defi guage and my Blitz boost controller say different peaks and slightly different readings, which should I belive the most?

OK thanks guys, I will keep it at that for the mo.. Any ideas on the BLITZ controller settings? Also, for future upgrades, what do you think is best for the turbos? One bigger turbo or two bigger turbos? Obviously looking for more speed and acceleration *grin*

Could anyone please tell me what the maximum boost I should be running on with standard turbos? I have a 98 VVTi TT J Spec 6, Manual with BLITZ front mounted intercooler and HKS dump value. Any ideas would be welcomed.. Also if anyone has any ideas on settings for BLITZ SD double soloniod boost controller, that would be great.. Settings it is currently on gives me 1.3 BAR at the moment. Not pushed it 100% yet thou..

Hi guys, Anyone know some info on the Blitz boost controllers. As you dont seem to set the boost in BAR but in percentage.. 0 = Stock and mine is set at 55 (MAX 100) with a gain of 12 I think. I dont have a clue on what boost this makes it run at, but I have been hitting 1.3 BAR boost. Any ideas?

Hi all, Not long had my Supra now, although still getting used to things etc.. I just had a small question, unsure whether its normal or not. When taking my time in the car, all sounds fine, but if I put my foot down and put pressure on the car to accelerate I hear a slight knocking noise comming from the engine when the turbo starts to spool up. Dont know whether its linked to the turbos or not, but I am sure it was not making this funny noise when I had it. Its not a real big noisey noise, but it is enough to get my thinking whether its normal and wondering if its just something that needs tighting etc.. Any views would be brill, thanks..
