  1. Hiya... I did send you a mail, not sure if it got through though.. In need of a tyre place that can get the jacks under my car and re-seal two wheels for me if poss.. Wondering how much and when I could pop it down. Doing my nut having to fill with air every few days with my AA battery powered conpressor
  2. Yo, I heard someone who is a memeber on here runs a tyre place in Cardiff.. Are the rumours true, if so who is the fellar as I need some jobs done. Diolch yn fawr
  3. Sticky back velvet even better I did not know they even sell that being a bloke like (Only Joking)
  4. Tip I used because of the clips being a touch worn was to cut up an old black sock and glue it to the clip, makes it nice and snug then. This is only if the velvet type stock ones are relatively worn.
  5. I know this thread has a bit of dust on it, but is there an easy way to disable like the new cars these days?
  6. I have managed to get the proper stuff. Its 4.7GB in size so may look at getting it hosted somewhere if there is enough interest.
  7. FYI. The auto box does not have the same filler plug as the manual, not by a long shot.
  8. Anyone know if these are defo the same? Thanks.. If so, I will take it.. It aint rounded off like the one I already have is it?
  9. Anyone know if you can get these third party.. Spoke to Toyota and they said they dont keep things like this in stock.. Odd as its basically just a flamming bolt. Few days for getting it in as well
  10. Managed it now guys, thanks... Tried some more WD40, got myself a new chisel and started the pain staking work of trying to loosen it up. Thought I was failing but it must of been working as I tried the mole grips again after about 20 minutes of hammer and chisel and she moved! The bitch is out now. Just need a new one Hammer and chisel must of worked a bit as the mole grips were just slipping yesterday. Maybe the chiesel roughed up the bolt head enough for the mole grips to get a good bite

  12. Cheers Homer, will try this all tomorrow.. Which Forest Gump thought it would be a good idea to put the plug in such a pain in the bum location! Anyways, we will see how it goes.. If that all fails, I will try the other suggestion on here... Swear at it.. Oh no wait, I have already called many names already.. Piece of Japanese shite being the more preferred line at the moment
  13. Been on the phone to my da.. He has been working with all kinds of machinery all his life and reakons a hammer and chisel may well do the job... It has worked for him on many occasions, but then this is with big machines and big bolts Any else think the shock using this technique may work, will proably give it a bash tomorrow anyway, but then the work space I have under the car is, shall we say, limited!
  14. Reposted thread as was not sure if this was showing up in the new posts.. If it was, sorry and this can be deleted. Wakey wakey thread Guys, the f'ing filler bolt has rounded off on me. I though it was going to be an easy job, as I have had this bolt out about a year ago. Anyways, any idea on getting this sucker out. Such a stupid f'ing place to put it fair do's! Idea currently is to weld a bar to it.. Any imput please? Its a damn tight spot! Any thoughts on that J B Weld stuff?

  16. Can the Royal Purple be used for both and is it better then the ones you mentioned Tim? Thanks..
  17. So for the 6 speed we can only buy these gear oils? What spec are they? I thought the Toyota one was 75W90. Confusing as spunk!
  18. Right then boys.. Whats the view on the Silkolene SILKTRAN SYN 5 75W-90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil. Thinking that I use Silkolene for the engine and its not let me down, I would keep the faith; maybe they will sponser me to If this stuff is tidy for the 6 speed, it also tidy for the LSD? Cheers.
  19. Shit.. What damage? At the moment seems fine. Toyota gear oil is 75W90 aint it?
  20. Motul 75W90 Fully Synthetic I have found in this hot weather to be a bit shite. Stick heats up a lot and the selection goes very limp and not much resistance between gates. Seems to be since I changed the oil at the end of last summer. Its fine when cold though, or in no so hot weather conditions. Going to put in guinuine Toyota oil now for the V160/V161 box.
  21. Peugeot 308. Plus its only £50 tax a year. Never been a fan of Peugeot's but if you dont mind them, then its a nice cheap car to run. I know of one for sale
  22. I had much the same issue. Have you changed the O2 sensor recently? I had a non-Toyota O2 sensor fitted for about 3 months and it went like this. Got a proper Toyota one and re-placed it. Not had a problem since and mixture seems spot on. Maybe its needs renewing or possibly cleaning? (Lemon Juice and all that) however that did not work for me.
  23. Thanks.. Hope I get a decent price, else I will bite the bullet and sell a kidney to keep it
