  2. Girls just seem to jump into mine whenever it stops at lights or something, but then again, I dont think its the car hehe only joking.. I concur, always getting people staring at the car and if I have the windows down, I hear kids saying to others "Look at that car, look at that car" You just CANT help yourself from grining ear-to-ear.
  3. Using an electrical polisher I thought was a bit dangerous, as if too much pressure, it will take the paint right off. Is this right? As I was brought one for XMAS but never used it becuase I was scared

  5. Are VVT-i able to be imported still, or is that what we are on about in the thread already? If not, are they ever going to be allowed again?
  6. Cant see why its suddenly the plugs when its started to happen recently after its been running totally fine. I am mainly after an answer as to whether the CAT left on might cause a problem like this or whether I have to look into something else gone or playing up.

  9. Anyone got any other ideas on why my car is doing this. Surely not down to slightly moving air cone posistion.. Bit of a worry. Hope its down to the CAT still being attached. Would re-set of ECU cause a problem also?
  10. No loss of power? All of a sudden started happening?
  11. Came up with a problem yesterday. My sister noticed in the sunshine that my car had damn swirley fine scratches all over the car.. Needless to say I was well annoyed!!! I have not noticed it with the dull weather we have had before the sun. I dont think its from the washing, as they look like the polishing/buffing circle motions. Please guys, is there anything I can do to get rid of these. Any like magical stuff Also some tips on the washing and polishing if anyone has. I currently use bucket and sponge thing for washing, then leather for drying. Polish I use dusters... Any advice please.
  12. Have the drive you want formatted in PC. Use something like Windows 98 boot disk with fdisk and format on. Boot off floppy. Run it, and choose the disk you want to format, making sure its the correct one. Then delete any partition on it, and then re-create a primary partiton and then format it.
  13. Don't know what type plugs.. Its seems to bogg down when putting foot down now and again when second turbo kicks in. Also feels like its mis-firing when in a low gear say 5th and going about 40 MPH then accelerating.
  14. Hi all, Current situation is that I still have the first CAT on the EXT system at the moment following the MOT. It is usally running with just a restrictor ring in.. Do you think with the CAT in aswell would cause the car running problems? Seems, or feels like the car is misfiring now and again, and sometimes boggs down when the second turbo starts to kick in. Any feedback would be great thanks.. BTW, not planning on running it with the CAT in for long, will return it back to full decat soon, but just wondering if it would cause any problems like mentioned above. Or should I start to look at anything else.. Its very odd as I have just noticed it. And the only thing that has changed is the CAT in and I moved the BLITZ SUS air filter to a different posistion (Nothing drastic, just closer to cold air feed pipe, which involved moving it few inches to the right) Sorry for the long post. Quite worried about this.

  17. Yeah, proper box. The Magnum one though had a dog leg 1st, and on one of the gear chnages the clutch got stuck at the floorboards hehe. And the guy was shouting to me "Let the clutch out, let the clutch out" and I was shouting back, "I have, I have, it's damn stuck" then all of a sudden it poped back out on its own accord.. Yeah, I though at that moment.. Not going to buy one of these damn things
  18. Well, not had my car on a track yet.. But I must say, the brakes on the 360 was immense, but then again, that was after driving that crap Magnum car. Very nice note to the 360.. Heard a lot of high reving, as a lot of tall guys were getting into the car and misplacing their foot, therefore, planting the accelerator to the floorboards..
  19. Guys, should this be really easy? Because, I have had a little go at getting it off, but I found its really awkward.. Will I need to get some sort of axle stands or something to get at it from below, or do I just need some tricks of the trade Becuase, if I can get it off tonight, going to take the advice of what I have read before and stick it in a lemon over night Any views/advice please!
  20. I scored 95 out of 100. Comments on the mark sheet was, and I quote "Excellent Driving, improving every lap, well done!" The old Magnum PI 328 car was a real dog BTW. The 360 Spider (The Silver One) was nice. Ohh, and the guy in the driving seat was me by the way.. Cant see much mind.
  21. Try and find the 180 DEG switch for the screen properties so it flips the screen and mouse.. Well pritty much everything, I have used that now and again.. Damn funny Oh and you will be supprised how many IT personel DONT know how to switch it back..
  22. Ian, I have finally got around to doing this test.. Hope you can make a conclusion on the following results I got: With the IGN off, I had 2 pins on the loom that outputted nothing in OMH, and 2 which outputted 56 and 0.5 I think it was.. So, I then took note of these two wires and connected the sensor back up. Proceeded to start the car up and then checked these two wires for voltage. One provided me with a reading of 14.0V - Positive feed I am guessing The other provided 0.0V Any ideas on what this means now, and how to rectify? Many Thanks, Marcus.. P.s. Guessing sensor is either nacked or dirty and should be reporting 0.5V??? Only problem is damn sensor seems hard to get off, as I have no ramps etc
