What was the deal with the VVT-i now? Are there any new things out to help with this or is it still piggyback or HKS F-CON Pro/MOTEC M600 the only options? From what I looked at before the MOTEC was better as it was not locked and easier to get people to tune.

I have been boosting on the 1.4 boost for years. It does not hit it in the summer. She does not have a ring in at the moment. But aslong as it will hit fuel cut first thats a little peace of mind I guess, although its not the best. I have a HKS one and it does cut the fuel. try and tested :-)

Hello all, Just wondering.. If I take out the restrictor ring in my exhaust (Looks like it does not narrow the gap anyway) in theory it will overboost.. But what I was wondering is that will the turbos just go until they bugger up or will the car just hit the fuel cut like it does in the winter?

Hi all, I have this funny clunking sound and wonder if anyone knows what it is and is it fixable... Its when I am taking it easy and in a low gear going down hills. I will be free wheeling and when I need a touch of power I gently just just the throttle lightly. This is when I hear a cluck. I though drive shaft connection or something? Any ideas? Thanks...

Interesting stuff.. 74 KG's is what I would save if I replace the two front seats with 9K Cobra ones and also took out the back seats... Would you really notice this weight saving in acceleration etc?

Just reading this and double checking the posts. Just to clarify. A stock bonnet is not mch heavier than a FG or CF one? Also, are both UK and J-Spec stock bonnets Aluminium?

I cant beleive they have never had one go wrong in all the units they have smanufactured. Maybe they are just refering to unmodified ones. As I bet you could nacker up a modified civic quite easily.

Passed now... They were in the car under a minute and that was it.. What a joke.. "MOT states that you must have a visual indicator that the fog lights are on." - What about the front fogs.. As on the Supra I am sure its just indicated on the stem as on or off not on the dash by lights etc.

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows a bit about the Laserline 291 family of alarms.. Since the garage had it in today for the MOT its now beeping and flashing for about 20 seconds after the doors etc have remotely locked. It used to just beep and lock but now beeps, locks then does this spaced beeping and then just stops. Any ideas please?

Well its come araound again.. The annual put de-cat on and after test take it back off. What a pain in the rear! Anyways, took her in and guess what they failed me on.. The little light which is on my crappy fog light rocker switch for the rear fogs.. How petty is that!! I waited for the car and they were looking over it for over an hour!!! I am sure now they just wanted to fail it on something Picked up another switch now which does show a little light when its switch on now.. Thank god.. As I felt unsafe driving it without a light on the fog switch..

Guys selling now £400 inc the P&P Its taking up too much room in my poxy little garage.

I have asked for a fair price as I would like a good price for it but also a fair price to the buyer.. So how does £400 + P&P sound? I would of thought it will go via Royal mail, as its in two parts and light enough.

Its a 3" Exhaust all seems fine. I put the funny note down to the rotted gasket I found when replacing the system with my new one. It just crumbled in my hands. No rattles when shaking the box etc when I had it off the car. Still wondering on right price as I have had offers already.
