Back in the 1970"s (before some of you were born) I went out for 4 yrs with the daughter of a british & european champion boxer called Joe Lucy.He had a big pub in the east end of london. Her cousin Glen Murphy plays a fireman in Londons Burning & we often used to meet up socially & at family get togethers.He & his Dad used to box as well. Oh , just remembered I got a lift from Roger Daltry lead singer of The Who when hitch hiking from Bristol to London when at college .Think the car was a Lambo or Ferrari it was a long time ago. Also kissed Sade (lovely dark singer with distinctive style) at a party just before her career took off. Would love to meet up with her now;she"s classy.

Be carefull they"re not covering you for a mk 3 instead of a mk 4 Supra. This happened to me a few years ago & only found out when the renewal came up.Lucky I didn"t make a claim. Think some other guys on here have come across same thing. -

Yep certainly have for well over a week now. Not just me but a lot of my sailing mates. Its felt worse because of the contrast between the prolonged heatwave /clear blue skies and the decline to cool cloudy northerly air stream of late plus the nights are drawing in a bit. Won"t improve much till that low pressure system moves away & we pick up a more southerly air flow . Its not all over for this year yet tho guys but always remember you gotta grab it whilst its here in this country.

I"ve got that...... nothing to worry about though...... best cure is a few beers so I"m told.... its worked for me for years:) Seriously; well done mate . I hate blood tests or anything needles in veins . have to lie down before hand but can never get the nurse to join me:( cheers , Glenn.

Thinking of getting a cat back Nur Spec R for my N/A auto (2nd decat) and saw your thread. I live in Southend as I think you do and wondered if you get one for yourself I would happily pay you ,say,£350 for one for me.I could collect from you locally. cheers , Glenn. -
WHAT SORT OF COMMISION ARE YOU ON??? the guy just wants a recommendation for servicing/tuning;not an engine rebuild. Southend (on sea) is a return trip to Bristol of about 350 miles!!! How much would the collection/delivery cost by trailer be I immediately thought.

k14 sup; Thanks for informative response. Despite a fairly wide spectrum of experience with performance & other car mechanics there are some areas where I know nothing Thats where this forum/club is so rewarding for us all.
