  1. Thats great! Whereabouts are you and how much you asking?
  2. Had the car over 12 yrs and never had to top up the rad till recently so its done well. I prefer stock as it should be perfect fit but have seen these and wonder if anyone else has used them. http://www.carcooling.co.uk/products/Radiator_Toyota_Supra_2997_cc_1993_99_05_93_10_99_3_0_i_24V_Automatic_vehicles_with_or_without_A_C_400_738_25mm_16400_46430_12TO551-88986-1217.html
  3. I dont expect so. Thats why I wondered if anyone on here had used one before and could vouch for the fit and quality.
  4. Thanks for that Hodge. Will pm him today.
  5. Sorry. That link didnt work. Try this one http://www.carcooling.co.uk/products/Radiator_Toyota_Supra_2997_cc_1993_99_05_93_10_99_3_0_i_24V_Automatic_vehicles_with_or_without_A_C_400_738_25mm_16400_46430_12TO551-88986-1217.htm
  6. Looks like I have a leak in lower part of the rad and will remove the undertray and fan casing to have a better look in a day or two. I prefer a stock auto rad which should be an easy fit but have seen these at about £120 all incl. _99_3_0_i_24V_Automatic_vehicles_with_or_without_A_C_400_738_25mm_16400_46430_12TO551-88986-1217.html has anyone had any experience of these. I dont want fitting issues or seperate trans cooler.
  7. I am looking to buy a 10ish yr old Ford KA for my 18yr old daughter as her first car. I have seen some cat D repaired cars and wonder if the fact that they have been recorded/repaired has any affect on the insurance for her. ie,increased premium or engineers report needed. Because of the limited value of an older car of this type often only very minor damage is sufficient to have a cat D classification by the previous ins. co. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of this situation?
  8. Hi Dave, hope all is well . Funny thing is that an extensive search has not produced a definate answer to what I would have thought was an especially rare question.
  9. Thanks Damo. Yours was the only response on this so hope it is the bulb you think it is as hate removing / refitting dash parts. so many wires & connections to mess up. Will pop over to see you at the Star Lane Ind. Est. on a week day.
  10. Thought I would find the answer to this but extensive search on here produces nothing of use. The "overdrive off" light on the rev dial has stopped working but the overdrive on/off works ok so must be the bulb. There is suggestion on here that it may be a soldered/fixed bulb rather than a simple plug in replacement but no definite confirmation by anyone as to exact type. I would think its the same as the "manu" light next to it in the rev dial. I suppose the whole dash panel has to come off to get to it rather than the smaller section around the dials.
  11. Its the first time for as long as I can remember that I havent got to get anything for anyone on Valentines day. I lost my other half suddenly last summer & would give almost everything I own (incl the supe) to see her smiling face again when I present her with a card & bunch of flowers or similar. Never take anyone or anything of value for granted eh?
  12. They are useless considering all the satelite & computer technology thats used nowadays. Also look at the number of forcasters costing a fortune on the morning telly. BBc breakfast has Carol in the blue peter garden(be alright if she were topless,we wouldnt care what she said) then a few minutes later theres somone else in the studio pretending to know what theyre talking about , then a few more minutes passes & theres a regional forcast from another nobody along with local news.
