Yeah a MBC is a Manual Boost Controller. I will reuse a ball&spring one that i used to have in my mitsu eclipse. But if i get some boost spikes (as it did on the mitsu) i will have to buy a profecB. 1,1bars is the way to go, don't? I will put a Boost gauge on the clock place. As I am in Europe like you, wich exhaust should i get? I don't need anything like titanium exhaust, just something cheap that does it's job. I know that in USA they have a lot of stuff to choose from and we're more limited in variety. What do you guys use? Thanks.

If i just decat the supra, add a MBC and the fuel cut defender do will i loose a lot of power if i leave the rest of the exhaust stock? If i have to upgrade the whole exhaust, what's the minimum pipe diameter i should put? 2,5" or 3"? Thanks.

Well this thread is mainly for people that had been driving a Mitsubishi eclipse turbo (or Eagle Talon) and now have a supra TT but averyone's comments are welcome. I currently have a Mitsu turbo and i would like to ask you some things. Please feel free to put as many comments as you like. What's you impression about the 320HP supra (after being a 210HP mitsu owner)? Is a whole different world? What about the power, did you feel a huge difference? What about the fuel consumption, did you felt a big difference in your pocket? Anything you miss from the mitsu? Are you heppy to switch to a supra? What if i use it as a daily driver? Thanks guys, i just want to be shure i'll be a happy if i get rid of my mitsu and buy a supra.

I received it today, but mine isn't working too. I've been able to copy all the files to the HD although DVDDECRYPTER was warning me about bad files all the time. But it still could copy it. I have fixed the menus with IFOEDIT but the videos are in bad condition as Gav said. If you replace the files on your VIDEO_TS folder with those ones i attach here, you'll have the menu working 100% but the videos are full of artifacts and jump a lot. Hope it helps. VIDEO_TS.zip

If you guys have a dvd burner i suggest you to rip it to your hardisk with dvddecrypter or smartriper and then use dvdshrink to rebuild it. (all are free software) Then use Nero (or the burning software you're using) to burn a video DVD again at low speed (2x) and it should work. Maybe the guy recorded the dvd's at max speed on cheap media and some players have trouble reading it. I still haven't my copy so i can't tell you if mine works or not. Hope it helps.

Yes man, here are very very rare and expensive!! The problem is to get someone with supra knowledge. I think i'll try to go to Germany first and see if i can get a low mileage one from there. If not maybe i go to see this high mileage one and test it if he still have it. Which things should check? - black/white smoke en the exhaust when cold. - Whine sound of the 2nd turbo at around 3.500rpm. - worn brake discs. - A compression test (must be a pain!) Were you living in Spain? Where?

Ok, i see. If you ever know from anyone LHD tell me. Ok, back to the supra in question: At 100.000miles can i expect to have a lasting engine or i will start to have failures everywhere? I mean, will i have to be prepared to spend a lot of money in repairings? At 100.000 will the valve seals be at their endings, pistons rings worn, rod or crank bearings starting to fail, turbos worn or leaking oil,... Or the supra engines will last much more miles without having to touch the internals? Thanks!!!

yeah, probably the owner knows about his car as much as i know about nuclearfusion. He probably buyed it already modded. But this thing aside, what do you think about buying it? Too many miles? HE told me he changed the clutch 6 months ago. He started asking 25.000, when i contacted him he lowered to 24.000 and 4 days after he lowered again to 22.500. Seems he has some hurry to sell it, don't?

No prob, it's perfectly understandable. I think you do write spanish pretty well if you didn't use for many years. Many times i do use the google translator to check if what i write is more or less correct. And also have a dictionary near for just in case.

What does he do, a pull in 3th gear from the start or what? I don't hear any shifting or RPM decrease. It's like the wheels or the clutch are slipping all the time or something.

No, i'm trying to buy a supra and sell my mitsu eclipse GST. Sorry i didn't clarify that. Now i've edited the post. Look i just contacted another guy selling his '94 supra for 12.700 (what a joke), that's what he answered me: I just reply him saying i want to see and test the car first and i'll take care of the transport and aked him when we can meet. Let's see if he responds back.

It's not only on ebay. Try http://www.autoscout24.com and http://www.mobile.de and see. There's some fake ones there also. I've seen MKIV supras TT for 9.000 euros. I tell you because i have tried to contact them to buy a supra and at the beginning everything is ok, they even offer you them to carry with all the export and transport just adding 650euros more to the check that you're supposed to send them. But once you tell them that you would like to go to his house and see the car before sending any money, then there's completely silence!!! They use to be people from UK like you but they offer a left sided steering wheel to avoid any UK people contact them. And even more, i have my car for sale (mitsu eclipse) listed in one of those sites and at least 6 people or more have contacted me saying that they're very interested in the car, that they will send me a bank check and after i receive it i must send the car. Scammers!! Again when i tell them that i only accept cash, they don't write anymore. Those people suck!!

That's not too bad. Hope mine stays around that. Do you know if supras run well with 95 unleaded fuel or i must only use 98 unleaded?
