HC readings: Fast Idle test - HC = Second fast Idle test - HC = I dont know what all that means just what it says on the sheet

It's a good choice to go for a 600 for first big bike, they handle extremely well and can compensate well for most in-experienced rider's. Have ridden most the 600's, cbr's, gixers, zzr's, r6's etc etc - they all good fun. Will still stick with me 1000 V-twin though. Be safe and take it easy..

Will tell them to just re-fit that one first then to save on a bit of labour What about if I stick the Baffle in the end of me NUR Spec R as well ?

The 4 wheel drive will help with traction at low speeds, but you actually loose power from it over all.

Just took her in for MOT and it failed only on emissions. Thought I would just stick it in to see what they said - hehe Results: Fast idle speed - CO = Second Fast idle - CO = \some other symbol - 0.970 - 1.030 - mine = 1.040 = Fail All the other lines on the sheet was either a pass or not checked... Have to take me 2 CATS in on Monday for them to re-fit & re-test Are the above about what mine should be reading at BPU+ ? Hornet

they dont work above 170 mph neither

for the DA you need to be 21 to be allowed to ride any size bike after you pass, or you will still be restricted. Around where I live a 3 day course inc. bike hire and test is approx. 325 - £450

Good luck on DA matey. Nice bike too. Dont forget to run her in properly 1500 miles and 1st service @ 500miles Hate running new bikes in, just p*sses me off but I keep buying new ones every 2-3 years Just put 2 new tyres on me VTR1000, more scuffing in for 100 miles.... Is nice to see others who also like bikes as well as cars.

Agreed matey, my bodyshop guy had done one before and told me that I had to strip all the panels out and remove all the switches etc which took about half an hour. He charged me £120 which I thought was ok considering its a perfect job with lots and lots of thick laquer to protect it and to get a deep metallic finish Then took me 20 mins to put back together again, I would not consider doing the prep, spray or finish work myself!

Agreed Alex, Me friend did a calculation for me and said at 1.2 bar its equivalent to over 7 litres or something. Dont ask me how I didnt work it out. Mine seems to be running fine. I do a 36 mile round trip to work each day on country B roads which are never busy with traffic. If i take it easy for the whole tank I get around 240-250 miles per tank. If I drive as I normally do i get around - 200-210 per tank, but I have had it as low as 180 miles on one tank

Bloody hell Chipmunk, did you nick my pictures just kidding, mine is exactly the same including the steering wheel , blitz meters, the lot... The only difference is the head unit (i have a PC in there) and I have EGT guage in the drivers right hand side air vent. Apart from that we be the same..

Yep it was a good day, or the part I attended anyway It was a nice relaxing drive from Hull upto Bridlington with a nice walk on a summers day along the sea front. Was good to meet the local guys as well as 1 or 2 from not so far away. The missis was fine, as I got home by the time I said I would, cheers Matt Will hopefully meet up with you guys soon. Hornet

Aye looks nice, but then since mine is Silver with the Same Top Secret CF bonnet and with my TRD CF centred spoiler on order with NIC Mine should look almost the same apart from the Veilside front & sides

I use 3G (Brembo based) 20 Groove discs with Endless pads, cant remember their part no but they are blue and work a treat. (Above also supplied by Envy)
