  1. I agree with what most others have said. It would be nice to have a standard Supra on the show and one which has been modified for the Track / street performance. We all know the Supra will and can beat alot of modern supercars on the track, that plus the fact that you can have a lethal Supra for far far less money than all the modern ones. The Supra's reliability also should not be a concern, they are built extremely well and most problems can be fixed cheaply / easily if they do ever go wrong. Welcome to the Supra world btw Mr Towers. 2p worth.
  2. The only garage near me to sell anything additional to the norm 95 RON and deisel is BP ultimate The nearest Optimax garage is like 20 miles away which means a 40 mile roundtrip, thats nearly 1/4 of a tank ffs Think yourselves luck you lot have a choice.
  3. Definately NOT a job for me then. My hands dont like getting dirty as they have to play with paper for a living
  4. so are these things quite easy to fit or is it a specialist job ?
  5. After reading Jake's other post, I too am now concerned about fueling probs etc as I'm running @ BPU+ The gauges I have already are: Blitz Power id (for its toys) + Blitz EBC SBC VII thingy as my boost controller (also linked to the Power id) I also have a Blitz EGT guage installed. What your saying now is, I should also (for safety) install a AFR & wideband etc ? People opinions on what they have / recommend would be nice...
  6. Right thats it, when I get home I'm lifting the bonnet and checking if mine are clamped / Tie wrapped on. If not, jubliee clips going on at weekend! Sorry to hear about this event matey..
  7. Very True Terry, but going to the effort of RR and tune FPR then buggering it up by fitting it where they have and it looks a mess. Will be interesting to hear their side of things. I hope it all gets sorted Ray..
  8. The hoses are a very special Nylon aparantly and are very good quality. They dont use Braided as they are harder to cut to length etc. Agreed that the location is a bit dodgy there, maybe they could move it next to the exhaust manifold for ya (just kidding). Surely the kit should have been installed at the passenger side of the engine bay and the hoses run neatly and out of harms way etc etc. Very poor install IMO. What exact spec of kit did you buy matey ?
  9. Thursdays I think is the repeat matey.. Sabine is a f--king brilliant driver!
  10. Wasnt me, mines Silver with a touch of C/Fibre
  11. Well spoken Michael, but wtf you talking about you like mowing the grass, nobody likes that Hey Waltsinhull, I'm in Hedon if ya wanna meet up and see what happens between our cars? Just to see how it would compare from a standing start and rolling start etc. Could be fun
  12. Interesting point Gav, it does seem that most acts of voilence are religion based than any other form, yet religion is suppose to be about peace..... I dont mock religion in any way but have no interest in it either.
  13. You can get ones that clip into an air vent. Cant remember where though sorry.
  14. I have looked at the Yank ones before and they beautifal and pretty etc, but very pricey. Looked also at the UK pickups, would have to be the Nissan Navara over the Mitsi L200 warrior. Just Google the navara and you will find loads on kits for them thats look pretty damn cool IMO.
  15. Well the TOP SECRET one has 3 vents either side and one behind the Turbos, but no vent for air into air intake.
  16. Yup special editions do hold their price better, but ya best bet is to trade in every 2-3 years for a new one. Keep the bike clean / immaculate and you dont loose much money. Or I haven't at my local main dealers anyway, they seem to give me more for the trade in than i would get sellin private. But then I have used them this way for 10 years now Will be trading me VTR1000 in at end of this summer too. Hoping to get the NEW VTR1000 SP2 Test rode one and they are very nice indeedy! http://www.mileskingsport.com/honda-vtr100sp2.htm
  17. Sympathy for all those involved. People are very niave to think that the public will ever actually find out the truth about such attacks. We are only told what we are allowed to hear and to be fair, its nearly always a mile from the truth. Agencies etc dont allow the real / important facts to leak out. People would panic. All IMO.
  18. Thought evryone knew that
  19. Must agree with ya Paul, the CF top secret one is very nice indeed (but then I have one too)
  20. Nope SAFC as yet, just waiting for turbo's to blow, then its bigger injectors, SAFC, and a T60/ T61 for me Just read you other post, I guess my results helped then, and she is running on 97RON BP Ultimate at the time too (as 98ron shell is rare around here).
  21. Cheers Markie, didnt know what it was and the keyboard didnt have that symbol
  22. Happy Birthday Michael. Enjoy drinking, without the driving! Have a good one!
  23. Like any company, you get good and bad experiences. Personally I use Sky insurance for the Supra.
  24. For more info on bike's - check out a thread I did in the driving chronicles a few months back. Back on topic - And dont try it on with the FQ400 they too quick for us TT's - you need to be single for those... (or a bike )
