  1. Very generous of him indeed if you look at how much others are donating. Damn good driver too. Total respect to the guy!
  2. 1st Supra mentioned - You gotta respect the person for putting in all that time and effort plus money. But holy sh*t its aweful (nice ICE thought) 2nd Supra mentioned by Pete - Agreed, its gotta be the mother of all f*ck ups (Although, did you see the dishes on his rims? Wow, how fat! I wouldn't mind him donating them )
  3. Very nice indeed, needs bigger wheels though
  4. ROFL tie wrap you rotten sod hehe. I love animals, but due to work it wouldn't be fair for me to keep any. (although I do love me 2 pet rats) I've got one of them to come to me when you say her name.
  5. You would think that Toyota would insist that there dealers have at least one mechanic with his lights switched on or provide training for such cars. Even if it's just one person per dealer it wouldn't be too bad. But as it is now, THEY S*CK! I used to have a Celica 2001 T-Sport as a run about and when it's ABS sensor went it took them 15 mins to source the problem and 2 hours to fix it. Although this was under warranty of course. Makes me wonder what would have happended if it wasn't under warranty.
  6. I would recommend Silkolene Pro-S 10w50 from Opie oils. Speak to Simon or Guy.
  7. I would definately ring them and see what the score is, I wouldn't pay for more than 2 hours labour without seriously giving them what for! Agree with ^^^ Chris Wilson knows his stuff!
  8. I did quite a bit of research regarding the ATF and had lengthy discussions with Simon at Opie oils and Millers oil. They said if they could find out what was in the Type IV they could recommend an alternative but both companies have tried for months and months to no avail as Toyota wont give out it's spec's. After all the research I did it, I was told by the other companies to stick with the Type IV until they come up with some facts which they have not to date. I went to my Toyota dealer who knew nothing about Type IV or Supra's to that matter so as usual I just rang Envy performance and they had the stuff in stock Cheap too!
  9. I took mine to the Toyota dealer in Hull a few months back as she was not running smoothly / misfiring etc. They charged me £70 by the hour too. But I rang them after they had had it one hour to see how things were looking. They said they couldn't find the problem and it too could take days. I said no thanks give me the keys back! They charged me for one hour (£70) and suggested it could be the clutch or gearbox. Posted me problem on the forum and took it to a Specialist and they sorted it within 2 hours no problem. Was 2 x coilpacks failing. My opinion of Toyota dealers for the Supra is very bad, they simply suck eggs and have probably never even seen one before. They didn't even know it used special ATF and other bits and bobs. Get your car out IMO with as small as a bill as possible and dont take it to Toyota dealers. Good luck! Hornet
  10. I've heard on the grape vine that Importers of tyres have two different compound levels available for the exact same tyre i.e Goodyear F1 GSD3 one will be a higher spec compound at a higher price if you get my picture.. Apparantly the manufacturers create these two different grade levels depending on the country they are designated for... I have no idea how true this is, but i heard this from A tyre dealer who uses a broker who offers both levels. Like I said could be total B*llox but could also make sense. I shopped around massively, both locally and online for ages and found many places which were cheaper than local tyre places but all seemed to be around 20% cheaper and no less. But the odd company like the link you posted is massively cheaper, makes me wonder why... Would be nice to find out the absolute truth, as we could all save a fortune! Hornet
  11. I've noticed a similar noise, think it's related to the aircon unit / heater system somehow. Grant

  14. I have the Blitz NUR Spec R and it sounds great, you also get a baffle which just slots and bolts in the end to make it a little more quiet if needed Grant
  15. Hey you missed me off that updated attendance list Where and what time do you want me to meet you in Hull Chris ? Grant.
  16. If you play your act right should only get 6 points and few hundred quid fine. Try not to go for a short ban to reduce points and fine as you will pay even more in the long run due to the insurance companies! Best of luck Grant
  17. I will be going to this meet in Leeds and am From just outside Hull towards the coast. Do you guys from Hull mind if I tag along for the convoy across to Leeds? Grant
