  1. You did indeed post me the Wheel dimension and order codes Colsoop, much appreciated. But if people have (like me) an import with 18" wheels aready on it, you have no idea what the original size wheels where etc etc. Which made it very difficult to establish which type was needed. Also when you look at the pictures of the pads, most would describe the 30030 pads as being the larger of the too sets. How ever is you work out the surface area of the 14040 pads they are actually the larger ones. All in all, now there are some pictures with absolute accurate dimensions of the pads plus order codes. Should help people in the same situation in the future without confusion.
  2. Nah Chris, Gaz is correct, They are J spec ones just different to the normal J Spec ones its seems. If you check out the dimensions I posted ^^ that should conclude it..
  3. - Yeah according to a parts code sheet I got, all the other J Spec's apart from my year (no explanation to why) use the 04466-14040 pads where as mine uses these 30030 pads. The UK spec rear pads are different again to my knowledge.
  4. I dont know, but just thought would be good idea to have pictures with order codes and sizes up here for future reference
  5. Oh yeah and the dimensions are: 04466-14040 - Width 80.8mm - Centre Height 57.5mm - Thickness 16.5mm 04466-30030 - Width 121.9mm - Centre Height 38mm - Thickness 15.5mm And thanks to Envy Performance once again for sorting this out for me. Hornet
  6. Ok I have now found out there ARE two different types of rear brake pads for the J Spec Supra. The most popular type are Toyota code: 04466-14040 The type I have which appear to be for the 1993-1994 J Spec are Toyota code: 04466-30030 I have attached some pictures of both sets for future reference for people. Hope this helps others out in the future. Pics: http://www.netpostbag.com/~hornet/Supra/rearbrakes/Pict1005.jpg http://www.netpostbag.com/~hornet/Supra/rearbrakes/Pict1007.jpg Hornet
  7. Nah not over priced matey at all, I agree with Elliot and am in the same boat, my car was bought stock 1 year ago and all the mods have been done and can be vouched for by Envy, and the car has only covered 5-6k with these mods done. I still have had no serious offers, yet stock TT's are selling at the same damn price ???? is just silly I think. Anyway rant over GL matey.
  8. Yeah bike test is quite expensive now, plus all the proper gear isnt cheap either if you want to protect yourself. lol - when I did my bike test it was just over 200 quid all in and I was only on the road for about 3 hours training then a 20 mins test. I am like Jake also, dont like the wet or cold so me VTR1000 sits in the garage with only 4500 miles on it but with me new house moving almost upon me, might have to garage the Supe and use the Bike to save cash
  9. Got mine from Envy Performance and it came with a Boss. Had my local bodyshop guy fit it at same time as doing other bits n bobs. Looks good and feels good too. Pics from link in my signature

  11. Hi Chris, thanks for info and help on phone, now that I have got home and had chance to look at them I found that: The rear brakes are not UK spec as I found some pictures of the UK ones. They are J spec ones, or look like J spec ones, however the pads are much wider and the height is less than the standard J spec ones. Wierd really... I will take their measurements at weekend and provide the relevent information. I also found out that there are 2 different types available for earlier 1993-1994 J Spec's so have a set of the others on order to see.. Once I have this problem sorted out I will take pictures and provide order codes for future reference. Bloody nightmare really as they rear pads are in a real low state and squeeling so I cant even drive it or risk wrecking the discs
  12. They said the ones I have, the: 04466-14040 are smaller than the ones on the car or should i say Shorter in width. And no they didnt take them off the car to look, which is pissing me off
  13. Thanks for the quick reply matey, but the garage only looked at them without removing the wheels etc and said that the 04466-14040 pads that I have 2 sets of sat here are no where near the size of the ones on the car? edit: They said that the ones on the car are closer to the same size as the fronts? But I know they are J spec as the front ones are!
  14. Have 2 sets of Genuine Toyota Rear pads sat here which the garage I took it to, to have them fitted said they didnt fit? Toyota code: 04466-14040 I have read another old thread on here about the toyota code: 04466-30030 Can any one actually confirm which ones I need as I have a 1993 J spec with J spec brakes and the rear pads are absolutely knackered and the 04466-14040 pads dont fit (or as I was told by the garage) ASAP plz, cheers Hornet
  15. Looks like a wolf in sheeps clothing..
  16. Cheers Chris, I will let him know. Hornet
  17. Father has one and has decatted it.. Question is: When the CAT is in place the sensor is positioned at the rear end of the CAT. So when its plugged into the decat unit will it not tell the ECU / ECM that the car is running rich and lean off thus reducing the power ?
  18. He just posted ^^^^ few posts back m8y
  19. I have just given mine away to Rays the roof, sorry m8 not much help
  20. China, Yes I'm in NA clan and play for them. We have our own public CSS server - karoo uber server visit http://www.na-clan.co.uk for details - my alias is -NA-Hornet surprising enough edit: and yes its still very popular matey, one of the largest online gaming communities.
  21. I do like BF2, and our CSS clan has just sorted out our own BF2 server too, we do have a team its just I dont play it that much and would take me a while to become good enough to play for our BF2 team etc etc.
  22. Nah, I play Counterstrike Source for http://www.na-clan.co.uk Tried BF2 but just like CSS too much.
  23. Bought mine from there just over a year ago, no problems at all, a couple of the coil packs went faulty and they loaned me a car whilst it was off the road. (although the loaner was a laguna ffs )
