Xantia TD? Very cheap, surprisingly reliable (that suspension can be repaied cheaply if necessary). And if I was doing all those miles, I'd like something not too small. Quite nice to drive too!

I test drove a Supra before buying my (1999) 300ZX. You can get them as late as 2000. 1999 onwards models have cosmetic and other upgrades. They're very reliable - it's just there's plenty of knackered old abused cars out there. There's plenty of nice ones too.

Don't like moluscs (squid, octopus, cockles, oysters, winkles, snails - basically any animal without a face). It "doesn't agree with me". You gotta eat lots of fruit and veg (five portions a day) - apparently the greatest diet advice you can listen to.

Matt - really sorry to hear about your problems - gutting. For those sleeping with their keys..... this is my story: Several years ago I got a knock on my door at midnight. It was two blokes with a baseball bat and knife. They were after a motorbike I had parked outside, well locked up. To cut a long story short they drove it away after the worst 45 minutes of my life. A year later one of the criminals who did this got a 16 year prison sentence for it, taking 40 other offences into account (reduced to 14 on appeal). I could hardly think straight in the next year and even now I feel very bad thinking about it. In court I heard one of them had a handgun when they did it too. Just be careful... these people may be harder / more desperate / better prepared than you.

Mine goes 'ring ring' like a phone. I'm kind of against ring tones as most seem to make people look like a c0ck, rather than a 'wacky, fun individual' they believe. A mate has the Benny Hill theme tune which I must admit is quite funny when it goes off and he's running about trying to find it.

Suppose I had a Supra TT and the turbos needed to be replaced and I went for recon ones, what would it cost? I'm talking drive in, drive out. Approximate is fine. Thanks Supra folks?

Shyte. I'm saving up and wanted to find a 2002 car. They're on Autotrader.co.uk every now and then (there's one on there now). I didn't realise they were so rare.

CAR magazine pulished some spy shots of aa alleged new Supra (disguised) being driven on a test track. There was a thread about it on http://www.300zx.co.uk Someone scanned in an article from a Japanese mag with pictures of it too which were clearer. I duuno if they are real pics / concept car or not but they seemed convincing. 330bhp and 1200kg sounds good but it looked more a 350Z / Audi TT competitor than a real sucessor to the MK IV supra / 300ZX / 3000GT though.

Mine would be instead of not as well as and I'm a long way from swapping yet! But don't tell the lads on the 300 board - we'll be lynched! I kinda feel cars like the 300, Supra and 3000GT are no longer made and haven't been replaced with anything nearly as good (the new Supra looks OK but it's not as good as the MK IV). Hi Supra folk! I have a 300ZX, NA. Anyone know how the non-turbo Supra compares? What about weight, power, tunability, handling? Also, what are the latest (newest) Supras you can get? Cheers
