  1. I've got two replacement knock sensors from a '98 VVTi TT. They were replaced unnecessarily, so the two I have work fine. I think they are roughly £80 each but if you need them, or want them as spares, then make me a reasonable offer...

    How much?

    Yeah, I'm all for that!

    How much?

Cheers for the input guys. At least that's given me an idea what to ask for... If I sell it!

    How much?

Oh yeah, forgot too mention that! It is a manual.

    How much?

I really don't know! I keep trying to decide on a figure based on what else is for sale, but of course everyone's got different mods, mileages etc... Plus there's not many VVTi's around and I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes. I guess I have a figure in mind, but I wanted to know other peoples opinions. It's all down to what someone will pay anyhow!

    How much?

I know there's been loads of these sort of threads before, but I'm trying to estimate how much my Supra would be worth if I was to sell it... It's a 1998 VVTi twin turbo with 93K miles. Brief summary of mods is as follows: 18" BBS LMs Tein Flex coilovers HKS Silent Hipower exhaust Chris Wilson decat with 1.1 bar restrictor ring HKS FCD It has a superb sound system consisting of Alpine head unit, DLS amp and Diamond Audio speakers (originally cost £2500). Also Clifford Concept 600 alarm. Pic attached... What do you reckon?
  7. Wow, that's nasty!! Like everyone's already said, glad you're ok...

    opinions

I like the design of the Whifbitz front, it's just that the bottom part of it looks kinda fragile.
  9. I also run Eagle F1's (on 18's) and use 36psi all round... Tried it with less but it didn't feel quite right. I don't have any problems with uneven tyre wear either.

    new wheels

I think the bronze colour of the RE30s would look good with the blue.

    new wheels

Here's a selection. I think all of them look good and would suit your car pretty well... From left to right: Volk RE30 Volk SF Challenge HRE 547R HRE C21 Fikse Profil 10
  12. Stunning! That really does look the business - and with the power to back up the looks it will be an awesome Supra.
  13. I would say that sounds reasonable... pretty cheap actually! Have you tried Turbo Dynamics at all?
  14. Is the requirement for a model report on a rolling 10 year basis then? So '98 Supra's will be available again in 2008? Wasn't Jurgen looking into some loophole with this, so newer Supra's, R34's etc., would be available...
  15. Thanks for the replies so far guys... I'll check out Turbotechnics - any other recommendations? As I mentioned, I don't want to (actually, make that can't ) really spend more money than absoulutely necessary - so "saving the money and going single" is definitely out of the question! Believe me, if that wasn't the case I'd have posted a different question ! I would have joined in this discussion last night but as well as a busted turbo I've got a busted PC!! Great...
  16. Performance Wheel Supplies in Blackpool definitely deal with split rims, and the quality of their work is top notch. I haven't got round to sending my wheels off yet, but that's where they'll be going! Only trouble is it's about a ten day turnaround as they send the wheels to Germany! It may sound a bit excessive, but like I said they do a proper job - the lacquer isn't going to peel off after 6 months!! Here's the number if you want to give them a try: 01253 347984
  17. I'm sure there's plenty of you out there who have had standard turbos rebuilt, or hybridised (if that's a real word!!)... Just wanted opinions on who you'd recommend to do the job. Obviously price is important, but it's more important that the job is done right... If I do go for hybrids, I can't go too crazy power wise as I don't want to have to spend extra on supporting mods (the car's just BPU at the mo)... Also, with a rebuild, how noticeable will the lag be with switching to steel blades?
  18. Site looks good, could maybe do with some bigger pics though... You're right about the price, you definitely don't want to take less than £18k. It's a unique car with an original Top Secret kit!! Good luck with the sale...
  19. I like those a lot... Mmm, got me thinking now!
  20. That's gonna look stunning... Good choice!

    Clean white

Use a clay bar for removing the tar spots, bird crap etc... Then (if you use Zymol) HD-Cleanse and wax. I've not used Meguiars, but I believe that's good as well. Zymol has to be the easiest wax to apply and remove and it'll look stunning afterwards - it doesn't leave any dust either, unlike Autoglym! Like IDO said, do that 2, maybe three times a year and it'll be real easy to clean...
  22. Yeah, I've spotted this one a couple of times as well. Saw it yesterday about 17:20 going out of Telford center...
  23. Think that was me... I flashed as I drove past you...
