  1. Thats why i'm going down mate, so i can scrutinise!!
  2. OH MY GOOOOD!!!! Well, it's gonna HAVE to fit!! Waited for 2 months to get to this stage, so there's definately the 'will', just got to figure out the 'way'!! Will keep you posted on how it goes this afty!
  3. Cheers guys, thanks for all advice. Off down now to have a 'word' with them!
  4. Bought it off (dare i say it) ebay about 2 months ago, and to be honest, don't think they even put it anywhere near the car before painting it!? They going to try cutting some of the box sectioning away under the bumper to allow it to be a little more flexible, as when you push the corners together, the bonnet rise part lifts up naturally. I'm gonna wander down to them in a bit cos they're only down the road from me. Think i want to be present for authorisation of any modifying that they're thinking of undertaking! Don't think it's a genuine Veilside? But not sure, are they fibreglass or plastic does anyone know?
  5. Bought a Veilside c1 kit, bumper, skirts and spats), they'vre all painted and ready to fit but the bodyshop are struggling with fitment. Has ANYONE got any tips that i can pass onto them cos they've had my car for over a week, it's now in bits, and they're stood around scratching themselves! :thumbdown The front bumper seems to be the major issue, the rise up between the headlights is too low, so when they push the bumper on, it's cracking around the headlight cut outs as the front cross member is forcing it into position.
  6. You guys! You're all heart!! And we can't have anyone missing out on the fun can we guys! Plus, the camcorder plan sounds good!
  7. Ha ha Tom, you know my missus has just bought a Cherokee!!!
  8. So what doesn't get missed or forgotten Dale?
  9. Tom, good picture of you on the York thread, thats a really nice RED car you're stood in front of!!!
  10. Thats my boy Tom, you know it makes sense!! Just trying to book into that B and B you gave me Daz, but there's no one answering!?? I'll keep trying! And all hale NA's as so eloquently put by Darkrider. (*Until i get my Vortex Turbo Conversion!, But don't worry lads, i'll always remember my roots, and the 'hood i really belong too!! LOL)
  11. 3 spoke alloys in La Laconda car park last night, i was in a Black Skyline R34.
  12. until
Little get together in York, North Yorkshire http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=38070
  13. Have any of you guys got May's edition of Japanese Performance Magazine. There's a lovely 7 page profile of the MK1V Supra, and some figures comparing the J spec, The UK TT and the RZ/GZ TT, (as if we really needed anymore!!), plus, our club's mentioned! Anyway, regardless of J Spec or Uk, the headline reads: " TOYOTA SUPRA MK1V... You're looking at the fastest Japanese Coupe this side of a Skyline GT-R. Often overlooked, the Supra offers sledgehammer performance and superb handling for a fraction of the cost of rivals" Now....isn't that something we ALL should be proud of!!?? I've got a lowly J-Spec N/A manual, but it's my absolute pride and joy, and i love owning it. I love driving it, i love the attention i get when in it, and i wouldn't swap it for anything else! (Apart from a TT or have my aforementioned Turbo Conversion of course!)
  14. Nos is a thought i'd had, but it only lasts as long as the bottle! I'b be doing about 5 a week i reckon! Was looking for a more long term power gain. And Daz, coast run would be a good idea, we'll have to have a chat about it next Sunday!
  15. Just started a new thread in 'Gatherings and Events' about it m8, see if we can get anyone else to attend! How was Scarborough?
  16. Sweet! Sounds good to me, see ya next Sunday, outside McD's right? (Cos BK is on other side of road on way in!)
  17. Hi bud! Yeah, next Sunday sounds spot on (15th), how about meeting outsde Burger King or McD's, there should be space to park then. And shall we say at about 1 o clock? Off to Lakes Cruise as well, but won't be staying in a B and B as i'm working til late on Saturday unfortunately , so will be driving over on Sunday morning instead.

  21. it appears we have bred a monster! A few cars turning up this year ay!
  22. Nice one, will look forward to it. Trying to sort out something before then up here with a few locals, but haven't been on any Supra meets or events since i bought mine 9 months ago, so i'm well up for the Lakes Tour! Video of last year looked excellent, but the turn out for next month looks impressively bigger. (If everyone shows of course, other commitments excluded!)
  23. You're not antisocial are ya m8!? LOL. I live 2 mins from Horseless Carriages (seriously!), so let me know when you're coming up by sending me a PM or something! A drive sounds good too, get my shiny new Veilside kit on next week, so i'll be desperate to parade around in my car as often as i can get!
  24. Worse than payin first is those ignorant old giffers that close a whole shop off and serve you through a hardly ever used serving hatch surrounded by BBG Coal and dead flowers in a broken stand, instead of letting you into the shop incase you attack them or demand any amount of normal conversation. I love pissing tham off by asking them to fetch me the furthest thing from them in the shop, and then when they get back, say, 'oh, and i'll have another one of them too please!' Then watch them chunter there way back round the counter and back down the shop again! Loadsa fun!
