Right gentlemen!! Organising an East Coast Cruise, involving the likes of Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey etc or any other stops anyone would like to suggest? Gonna involve Ice Cream, Fish n Chips, and maybe a pub lunch too! There's some damn fine roads out there so we can have some fun! Meeting at Hull Marina, on 3rd July 2005 at 11.00! Dazsir, Jim and myself will plan a good route for us incorporating some good old twisty's as well as some smooth A Roads for maximum photo op's! Lets take advantage of the minimal English Summer while we still can! Suggesting Sunday 3rd July as it's just after pay day, and we should still be enjoying this rare English Summer! Names on the list and any suggestions please guys! Click below to join the fun!! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2005-7-3&c=1

Ah... you mean the one that looked like it had just completed the Paris-Dakar and come straight to the Lakes after!!??
-
Yeah, but shouldn't they be lounging round a pool drinking a vodka and coke, AND wearing a Club T Shirt too! LOL!

Just got home too! As Tom said, perfectly organised! Well thought out, good presentation, and superb directional handouts! Well done AJI, i take a bow towards ya! Good to see the usual faces again, and sorry to Jim and Daz who had to turn back because Jim got a bubble in his tyre wall! Thanx to Daz for sorting out the B & B for us on Saturday night also! Top day, good weather for the first half of the route, shame it rained for the second sprint, but hey, that's something that can't be helped! Nice to meet everyone elso too guys, got a few faces to go with names now so that really helps, and they belong to some SWEET rides too! Nice cars, all of ya, seriously! It felt great being in the company of so many well turned out Soops! Few pictures to start you all off. (Sorry if some are blurry but difficult to drive with your knees as you all noticed! ) P.S. Gaz, i DO want to book my car in for it's conversion! Get back to me if you would!

Jeeesssus! Vicious little booggers ain't they!! Love the way no one had the balls to step in and stop them, just rather stand and watch the fur fly!!
-
BOTH cats removed, and a single silencer back system. (Doesn't branch off to either side of diff and back again!) So yeah, she's not 'noisy' but does sound lovely and crisp m8! (Oh, and the backbox is 'Jama' if anyone knows who they are) Saw a thread a while ago where someone took a photo of their backbox which looked IDENTICAL in every way to mine, and i think the conclusion was it was some kind of TRD type thing?? Anyone know?

Used to have a black 200sx a few years ago, i diamondbrited it which helped it keep it's shine. Gonna do this one too methinks cos red can go dull just as easy, but not as easy to spot it on red as it is on black! I love my new plate though. Used to have my fiances on it which was 97 EMR, (her initials) because my plate was M17TEW, (supposed to be MATEW) when spaced correctly with clever use of black screw caps! Seeing as the Soop is an L prefix, had to think of something witty begining with L or lower, so LOUD seemed to be a good choice! (only 245 quid too, so quite a bargain! ) BTW, still have M17TEW if you guys know of anyone who may want to buy it? It's on retention, and open to offers of about the 300 ish mark?

Always a relief to get it back ain't it m8. They had mine for almost 2 weeks, and i'm pretty sure they got fed up of me 'just passing by' all the time, but it's impossible not to worry. Luckily, the guys that fitted my veilside kit were both old giffers, so i didn't have to worry too much, but they were also part of a garage, which was full of youngsters, so i also took the mileage just like you did. Did the same when i got the windows tinted cos i didn't know the guy, he'd only been recommended to me. But the same again, no mileage, and no damage. Guess we're all just a little fond of our cars, and want to make sure no one takes advantage of having them whilst our backs are turned! Get the piccys posted!!

Gutted m8! You never know though, still got 3 days left to get her on the road!

Right guys, just wanted to show you how i spent my one and only day off this week, and seeing as it's been glorious sunshiny weather, most of it was spent polishing my Soop. Also went to DVLA in Leeds today, and finally transferred my new plate on to her! Lovin lovin lovin it!!!
