  1. The colour can be changed but i like the bodykit really, think the dash looks rather plain tho (like most produced cars today, no shape, straight and all the same - take the badge off the inside of all cars and you wouldnt know which one you were sitting in!) Di djurgen import this then?
  2. Obviously im not selling this and i apologise to the mods beforehand if this isnt in the right forum. But it is for sale on ebay, its a supra but not, if that makes sense. Does anyone know anything about this car? Seen it before?, Opinions? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250190934502&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015 Foz.
  3. Argh, decisions decisions! - i only have the standard wheels on my MKIV TT Aerotop, its near xmas and im looking to spend nearly a grand on wheels! How come when i have the money theres no wheels for

  5. Or how about these (think i like these better!) these are for £995 and have Avons on? Same size tyres too! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-ALLOY-WHEELS-AND-TYRES-18-DEEP-DISH_W0QQitemZ230196351287QQihZ013QQcategoryZ9888QQcmdZViewItem
  6. Hiya all, ive been on the hunt for some new alloys and tyres for a while now and ive come across a trader on Ebay with some nice looking alloys for £850 - what do you think? Are these ok? These come as 18", with FALCON tyres, 235/40s on the front and 265/35s on the rears? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120187492856&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002
  7. Hiya all, Im in the market for some new tyres and i thought well nows a good time to try to get some new wheels as well as the ones i have are standard! Ive seen a few websites and ive spoke to a few of them, ive been offered some new 17" wheels along with Toyo tyres (235s on front and 265s on rear) for £850 all inc fitting. I didnt think that was too bad but im not sure about the tyres and i also wanted 18"s Any opinions on this? heres a link to the wheels: http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/17_Inch_Rota_Wheels_Boost_Steelgrey_Alloy_Wheels.html
  8. Whoever is responsible for that should have the same treatment done to his nads..........post them pictures please! Id be more interested in seeing them.
  9. Hiya guys, im looking at getting some new alloy wheels (ive still got the standard ones on my MKIV TT Aerotop 94) Im thinking of going for 18"'s but ive heard these can affect the smoothness of the ride? IS it better to go for 17s? Also what size front and rear is suitable ive heard 235s on the front and 255s on the rear is ok? As you can guess i have no idea! hahah. Any help you can give is appreciated! Cheers all. Foz.
  10. I can honestly say i dont know what most of these things mean on that list......im so ashamed......=(
  11. Ok just picked the car up from the auto elec, its all fixed. It DID turn out to be the relay in the boot (its on the passenger side in the boot behind the plastic panels apparantly for anyone who wants to know). After reading the last post from SteveR i rang the elec and told him about the relay in the boot, he said thanks he'll check it and it turned out to be that. that swine still charged me £94 tho!! it wasnt with him longer than an hour n half and hes said hed not replaced it just FIXED it.....ah great thanks afer we told you where to find the problem! hahah. Oh well, had a re-test and its all done now bless her, not bad for two years ownership and all shes cost me through two tests is some bulbs and a couple of tyres, donthca just love Supes? How can a 13 year old car p*ss all over most of the cars on the road today! Thanks all! Foz.
  12. Ahh right thanks for that, ive just dropped it off at the Auto Elec, ill give them a call and tell them thats where the problem may be. Hope they dont charge me a small fortune for that if it is the problem. Thanks Steve.
  13. God i hope not!, the guy at the testing station said i had 10 days to get it back to him. I magine having only one day to get it back to them in the event of any failure is a little too unrealistic, how are you supposed to find a somewhere to get it fixed in a day!? *gulp* ill see when i try to take it back hahah.
  14. Ive not heard of the bulb failure unit? Is that accessible via the boot? Think its just gonna have to be patched through from the reg plate light or something?
  15. Well checked the fuse and theyre fine, bought some new bulbs but they dont work, although if i put the new bulbs in the brake lights to test them they work fine....so im stumped. Got it booked into an Auto Elec on Friday so he can tell me how stoopied im being......lol
  16. Ahh right, well ive changed the only two bulbs that dont come on in the rear clusters, theyre both the light ones. I also took the new ones i put in and swapped them with the brake ones, but i still had the same problem. That just told me the new bulbs were working fine in the brake lights. Im stuck now, i booked it into an auto elec for Friday as ive got a few days left to get it re-tested. I can imagine the auto electrician saying oh yes the problem was [insert something really stupid here] to me on Friday! hahah. Thx for all your help anyhow guys. Foz.
  17. im not sure i understand, do you mean the front lights as you said headlights? Im talking about the rear cluster when i put the lights on, the fronts work fine but the rears dont, neither does the fog light at the rear although the reg plate light works fine along with the brake lights, indicators and reverse! strange....
  18. I think they were, im assuming you mean is there TWO filaments inside the glass? The bulds were exactly the same, i gave them a close inspection when i bought them. Someone mentioned there may be a relay in the boot somewhere for the lights, im not sure if this is the problem or not?
  19. Hi all, ive had a problem now with the rear lights not working for a week or so, they were fine and one day just stopped. ive checked the fuses and changed the bulbs but still noy joy, ive taken it to a local garage to see if they can find the problem but now he's referred me to an auto electrician. Im depserate to get this sorted as it failed the test on this so ive not got long to get it sorted before i can take it back without getting charged again. if you can give me any pointers that would be great. When you put the lights on the back ones dont come on yet, the reg light, brake lights, indicators and reverse lights all work fine. ive checked the fuses under the bonnet and also the fuse box under the drivers side, im not aware of any others to check is there? any help would be great, am i missing something silly? Cheers guys. Foz.
  20. Cheers for the advice Steve. Foz.
  21. Hiya Ads, its still not working but ive yet to check the fuse box under the drivers side, im positive its going to be the fuse in there. If not then im stumped! Ill check tonight and let you know! Cheers pal. Foz.
  22. Ignore me, i actually re-read the post which tells you all that.....DOH! apologies! =(
  23. Thats a lovely interior, can i ask where you got that done and how much did it cost? would love something like that to update mine! Foz.
  24. Yeah its a strange one, no idea why it likes to make noises stupid thing. It would be a step forward if i could just disable it so it doesnt go off all the time but i cant even do that. Ive checked the manual but theres no option to disable it at all, suppose it makes sense really. If i stop typing, i reckon i can hear it going off in the car park at work.......*sigh* its one of those silly sounding sirens as well that sounds like an ice cream van......oh joy. Foz.
  25. Hiya all, Ive got a slight problem with my car alarm and its driving me (and mt neighbours!) mad. Its a clifford XL10 and not matter what i do it constantly goes off at random times. Ive tried just locking the doors and not setting the alarm but it auto sets after 30 secs.....and then its a matter of time before it goes off. Im not sure what to do with car alarms and im sure just ripping out the wires is not a good idea. Can anyone suggest anthing withough investing in a new car alarm? Cheers.
