  1. About 1645... In this horrible 'no #2' weather. Dammit, missed you again! I need to pay more attention to the other side!
  2. Might have been me! Was it Veilside? I was heading from Reading to Bracknell this morning at that time. Sorry I didn't see you.
  3. Glad I'm not the only one who was interested in James' avatar. I actually PM'd him for the name a few weeks back!! I'd buy that for a dollar...
  4. Saw a silver kitted Supe without wing or spoiler around lunchtime today on the M25. Looks like the rear-left quarter has been a bit bashed in. This car was so low to the ground, it's amazing you ever get it over speed bumps! Would have given you the four finger salute, but I was in my purple Rover (so you almost certainly didn't see me!) and felt a bit nervous about waving four fingers across all the lanes of the M25 in slow moving traffic.
  5. Darn it! Just when I thought it might have been me and then I remember that my car currently has a dodgy starter motor and is with Miami-GT. Do you live in Woodley/Reading then Sabrina?
  6. 1 - Robsheffield - 'horned' rear, 'non horned' front and 'supra' script badge (picture 1) all in Black 2 - Heckler -'horned' rear, and 'supra' script badge (picture 1) all in liquid chrome 3 - Dash Rendar - Chrome 'Supra' script please
  7. What a surprise... Didn't reach the asking price.
  8. I was expecting dark and of course knew what was gonna happen... But this film just rocked my soul! This is certainly not one to watch when you're looking for some feel-good-factor. Palpatine rules! Erm, literally.
  9. This is so funny! Mitsubishi Gto + Cash? What planet is this guy from?
  10. Nice one. Will have to contact you when I build up the nerve to visit Brum!
  11. Bugger. The place that did the air conditioning said they couldn't find a leak using the standard leak tests. BUT, they reckon it's losing gas when it's being driven. They say it's too inaccessible and they don't have the facilities to diagnose a problem like this. Can anyone help? I don't know what to do now.
  12. Thanks Keith. I'm gonna take it back to the place that regassed it today, since the work came with 3 month warranty. See what happens...
  13. Similar question asked in this thread. Includes pictures of Razo shifters, as well as standard shifter retrimmed in silver (on a silver dash).
  14. I think those symptoms are what happens when there's no gas. That's what mine was like before I had it gassed.
  15. Oh good. Does that mean you have the answer to my problems?
  16. I'm sure some of you will see the irony in this... My air conditioning has stopped working today. When I press the button, the engine revs rise and I hear a hissing from somewhere on the left. But no cold air comes out. I had it regassed about a month ago (it was empty when I bought the car) and the people that did it ran leak tests and didn't find any problems. It's been working until today. I've just done the test where you press the AUTO and RECIRC buttons. These are my findings: All buttons flash four times (including the first flash which happens when the key reaches the on position in the ignition). The rear demister button then continues to flash indefinitely. Does this help? Anyone know what's happened to my poor air conditioning?
  17. My thoughts exactly! Have you seen this MS KB article? It might help.
  18. Thanks for putting me in my place IMI! The reason I provided this information is because merckx said this: From this, I concluded that he has managed to boot from CD but requires 3rd party drivers in order to proceed. Perhaps this was the wrong conclusion... I'll shut up and go away then!
  19. The problem with this is that you can't format the drive your OS is sitting on. Hence why you need to boot from a different drive. But this is further complicated when you've got SATA, SCSI or RAID devices. My solution (although overkill for this situation) is to have a multiboot system. I'm running 98SE, XP and Linux on my box, so I can always boot another OS when I need to do some maintenance on a misbehaving one.
  20. Presumably this is for RAID, SCSI or SATA drivers, having pressed F6 during the boot? I've had members on my forum post similar questions. One member simply copied the drivers from the CD to a floppy and then installed the drivers from the floppy when prompted. This worked, apparently.
  21. Spotted a silver supe this morning in Denham, parked up near the roundabout just after exiting the A40. Nice wheels. Didn't get a good look as I was driving away when my wife spotted it.
  22. Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but can someone tell me if this looks okay? Maybe a bit rich? As you'll probably all have heard by now, I did forget to done of the aircon, so I'm not sure how much that affects the AFR. As a side issue, does anyone know exactly how much the aircon affects the dyno, because I'm well depressed!!
  23. Heckler, were you talking about this one? Similar, but not quite the same. Just as tragic though.
