Yeah, thanks for that. I went though a particularly unpleasant end-of-relationship breakup when I was a student several years ago. I must confess to finding a certain solace at the time in the escapism of the Star Wars universe! You'll be pleased to know I don't read these books anymore. (Although I'm still fairly geeky by nature. )

Nice stats! Over my 20 mile round trip to work and back on the 329, I see maybe one Supe a month. I see probably ten Porsches a day along the same stretch. Now *that's* a common car.

Me!!! I've never had the Supe on a track. Never had an opportunity to *really* put my foot down. I've had a couple of relatively 'reserved' street races, but nothing where I've put the car to the limit. My two main hopes for the day: 1) That my car doesn't have p1ss-poor performance compared to everyone else's 2) That I don't demonstrate an inability to handle the car at high speed and lunch it!

Sorry, no wide pics. Everyone I've asked has dissed the blue... So let that be a warning to any of you who thought blue would be good! So I think I'll repaint in black afterall. Defo need those stickers. Will PM Gordon and make sure they work on J-Specs.

2 slipped discs and a hernia later, I finally managed to get the wheels off. I've painted them blue, but my missus and one neighbour have told me how awful they look! So now I'm beginning to regret having picked blue. Do you think they look terrible? Do I need to repaint in black? P.S. The Halfrauds paint is indeed very sticky and needs to be used in very thin coats. Definitely leave plenty of time to dry.

If you get a single-blink from a BMW driver, then you should count yourself lucky that they considered you worthy of any sort of indication at all. Afterall, BMW-drivers don't need to abide by the same rules as other motorists. Seriously though, the "no need to signal when returning to a lane after overtaking" surely only applies if the only vehicle that could potentially be affected is the one you have just passed. If there are other vehicles near by, you should always signal your intentions, even if what you are about to do is blatantly obvious (i.e. moving back over after overtaking). Just because we assume we're good drivers and pay attention to our surroundings doesn't mean that other road users are... So they need ample warning!!

Well, I would say it was me, since I'm normally on it everyday. But I'm having a few days off and the Supe hasn't been out in three days.

Sadly I have a very small brain and I'm easily confunded! But don't worry, the memories of being a passenger with your mighty BOV going off will always be very vivid! (I've even mentioned your car on this board a couple of times when people have asked where to get a loud BOV.) Hope I didn't offend! The first thing that comes to my mind when discussing MX5s is hairdressing, and your mighty MR2 is far from that category! I'll just go and get my coat before I nailed by Supra-owning hairdressers...
