  1. I no longer use anything else. Good fuel... Good price.
  2. Since everyone is posting up pictures of Rover Coupes, I thought I'd add some pics of mine... Since I'll be getting rid of it sometime in the next month and replacing with a Scooby. I think they're lovely looking cars. Mine is the Coupe VVC, which came out around 97 and replaced the much more rapid turbo model. If I remember correctly, the stock Coupe Turbo did 0-60 in 6.2, so would certainly give an NA Supra a run for its money.
  3. Dammit. I've curbed one of my alloys. The rims are polished metal. (Not sure if they're steel or aluminium or what). Any recommendations for where I can get it refurbed?

lol. Best thing I've read in ages.
  5. I've got broadband, but I couldn't be ARSED (hah)! Angry Rhinos Scare Edible Shrubberies Next word... Edible
  6. I think the Supra is probably the best car in the game. The oversteer is just spot on and allows you to corner so much harder than in any other car. Cars like the lambos have really precise steering, but you wont let you power through the corners like the Supra does. (This is in complete contrast to the Supra in NFSU2, where the Supra torque steered off the line and oversteered like a b1tch. Completely undriveable.)
  7. I thought it was closer to 0.7 bar??
  8. Gold looks great on black cars. Don't think it looks so good on silver.
  9. Definitely black with the white decals. I did try blue, but didn't think it looked very good. I've attached both pics for comparison. (These were with my old wheels... Reckon it looks a lot better with my current ones.)
  10. I haven't driven the Rover for a while (a couple of weeks), but it seemed fine. But I reckon it definitely strangled the car last time my missus went out in it. Now I know what it is, I'm not quite as worried as I was.
  11. So... If it sounds okay, do I really need to do anything about it?
  12. Yes, exactly like that! This could really come from the silencer? It didn't really seem any louder to me, but then again... I drive a Supra!!
  13. My missus pulled up at the front of the house in our Rover Coupe today, and told me it had been coughing and spluttering and all the power had gone. I immediately spotted the problem... There seemed to be a mass of long silvery fibrous hair hanging out the back of the exhaust. So I started pulling it out... And kept on pulling... And kept on pulling. There was metres and metres of the stuff! In the end, I pulled out enough to fill half a large bin liner!! WTF? Did someone jam it up there for a laugh? How would they have got it so far down the exhaust? Rover seems okay now.
  14. Kewel idea. Next time it happens, I'll give those a try.
  15. Did he give you anything to fix the redness?
  16. Some Bracknell scum has stolen my wheel valve caps. Why don't the chavy cheapskates just buy their own? They're not that expensive! Luckily I had a spare set. Although I only needed to use three because the stupid gits can't count. (Or maybe they were replacing the caps on their Robin Reliant?) [Oops, wrong section. Oh well...]
  17. That's what I thought, so I left my car running for over a year with oil pissing out the BOV and pouring down the induction pipes. It turns out the oil had been leaking past a bearing in one of the turbos and in this situation, there's no smoke. (I don't know too much engines, so I'm only repeating the information and advice I was given.) The longer you run a car in this state, the more damage you will be doing. I had to have the head stripped. When I first told people on here, they all said I was being led astray, but after seeing the pictures, most people agreed that this was the right thing to do. I'm not saying it's all bad. I'm just saying that you should probably get a professional to take a look earlier rather than later... (The upside is that this gave me an excuse to go hybrids!!)
  18. Okay then, I'll notch it up a bit.
  19. Well, this was true when it came out of the garage. With Homer's help, I found that it was actually 66psi. Anyway, the static pressure is currently 36psi. I would put on the stock fuel regulator, but I don't have one. (The garage that did the work kept my stock regulator, and for reasons I don't want to get into, I'm not bothering to try and get it back.) Anyone got one I could try, and are they easy to fit?
  20. Ever since I went BPU a few months back (which included having the head taken apart and cleaned, FMIC, FSE, etc.), I have a funny problem starting the car when warm. It starts up really lumpy (sometimes it just cuts out) and seems to take 2 or 3 minutes to clear itself and run smooth again. During this time, if I try to put my foot down, it will start to boost but doesn't get any power... It's like it's not getting fuel or something. It doesn't happen with a cold start. Runs perfectly. Any ideas? It's not really much of a problem, but it bugs me a little and I'm wondering if I might be doing any damage.
  21. I can't believe that in Allentown, getting aroused in public is against the law!!! "Erm, excuse me sir, but I have reason to believe you are getting aroused. You're nicked."
