  1. He's just realised it's pink.
  2. Rumours, discussions and pictures of the 'new Supra' seem to have been flying around for ages. But I'm still confused as to which car *is* the new Supra. In this article (confusingly named 'Son of Supra will be a Hybrid' (originally printed in this month's Autoexpress), they show a picture of what looks like the Lexus LF-A, but then go on to say that the 'Toyota Supra is back'. They say that it will come with a 3.5L V6 hybrid powertrain (that's hybrid engine, not turbos of course!) with RWD. But then this article from Top Speed talks about the new Supra arriving in 2008 in both 5L V8 and 4.3L V8 versions, priced at 50000 and 40000 dollars, respectively. This Supra looks much more like the mkiv and is more appearling, IMO. So, which one is the new Supra? Does anyone have the definitive answers?
  3. I have been using 1&1 for a long time, but it turns out they're a useless shower of b4stards with useless support and not a great product. After recommendation from a friend, I'm now switching to http://www.sniffhost.net, who seem EXTREMELY competitive. For example, a Business Pro package with 1&1 costs 14.99 a month, while Sniffhost offer pretty much the same package for £25 a *year*. Similarly, 1&1's home package is 4.99 a month, while the Sniffhost equivalent works out to be about 49 *pence* a month. Also, I've emailed sniffhost with a couple of queries while setting up and received responses within a couple of minutes. Bear in mind that they're based in the UK and I emailed them at about 1700 on a Sunday. That's what I call quality service.
  4. AOL... The company that has been at the very top of every computer magazine's "World's Worst" list in the last five years. AOL... The company that recently released the full search data of 600000 UK users without going to any attempt to hide the users. (The plain text search data is still available for download in plain text format.) AOL... The company that recently 'improved' its installer by introducing new spyware (that doesn't get mentioned in their EULA) and by installing a product that wont uninstall properly. More details and ranting here, if anyone is interested.
  5. How about Sheila - the Thief - from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon show. It's all about the boots.... phwoar.
  6. I love the way he does the dump valve at low boost, but then does the screamer when he's ranting it. Skills!
  7. I dunno. Used to be pretty good a railing myself. A bit rusty now though. No time to play.
  8. I'll give you a run for your money on that one. Reckon I can out-bowl you lot in tenpin bowling. Maybe.
  9. I have the Blitz Nurspec R and I like it. I'm curious as to why nobody has mentioned it... Does it not rate compared to these others? I do like having the removable silencer. It sounds awesome with the silencer out, but most of the time I leave it in... Then it's a real quiet car.
  10. You feel inadequate? I'm the only one in this thread who has a count requiring merely 3 figures.
  11. In the old days, we ripped the DVD with Smart Ripper and then extracted the audio stream with something like VirtualDub (which is free). I think things are bit easier now and there's a nice How To guide here.
  12. Now 26.1. Aargh, I can't stop playing!!
  13. 36.5 for all four levels. Man, that really is addictive. I take my hat off to you, Shilakadaddy... You were damn quick!
  14. Thanks for the tips guys. I'll certainly look into making the non-standard fields mandatory. That's a good idea. So, you think these are automated spammers? I did wonder, but I also thought the image verification would stop this. On the other hand, my image verification isn't very obscure, so maybe I'll step it up a level! I'm using the Invision Power Board engine (version 2).
  15. My (IT) forum has been getting a huge amount of spammers lately. They sign up (going through the anti-bot mechanism and email verification) and then they post a load of links to prescription drugs, porn sites, illegal software or whatever. They typically repeat their post two or three times. I then have to go and delete their posts and ban them. Sometimes they just reregister with a different address. Occasionally, I have to set up filters against certain IP ranges or email domains to block them. This wouldn't be so bad, but lately the number of spammers registering outweighs the number of legitimate people. Does the mkivsupra board suffer from these spammers? How do you deal with them? If not, how come I get so many!!?
  16. I have been quietly posting here and there! Meanwhile, it appears you've been slowing taking over the world! How's your 'stock' motor? P.S. I forgot to mention: thanks to Phoenix for sorting out the FPR, plus a load of other minor things that needed some attention.
  17. Apologies for resurrecting this old thread. I thought I'd update you with what happened... First, I upped the pressure from 37 to 44 psi. This mostly cured the problem. The car ran a lot less lumpy and no longer cut out when warm-started. However, the throttle response still seemed a bit random and a bit poor. It was almost as if the fuel wasn't making it to the rail. Anyway, this weekend I got rid of the FSE and had the Aeromotive FPR installed. The car now runs like a dream... Much smoother and much more responsive. So yes... You were all correct: the FSE was rubbish!
  18. Bugger. I never seem to find out about these events until afterwards.
  19. Welcome aboard mate. Keep your eyes out in the 'Was it you?' section. You've been spotted at least a couple of times.
  20. Spoke to you yesterday and you told me you've joined the board... So welcome!
