  1. I had the Nur Spec R on my old car and there is a BIG difference between baffle in and baffle out. With the baffle in, it sounds reasonably tame, although it also makes the exhaust sound like it's "blowing". (This happens with removable baffles in all exhausts I've come across.) It still drones at 80 on the motorway though. Honestly... It's not nice. With the baffle out, the Nur Spec R sounds pretty awesome, especially when you're giving it some around town. One last comment: I dyno'd my old car with and without baffle, and the baffle cost me about 15bhp due to lost boost. Of course, if you had a boost controller, you could circumvent that loss of boost by upping the duty.
  2. I'm hoping to pick up the car tomorrow, so I'll let you know.
  3. Fair cop. I was only going on what I was told. £35 then.
  4. *** SOLD *** I have an active spoiler ECU available if anyone wants one. I've noticed plenty of active spoilers for sale on here, but very few ECUs. I was advised that is is worth about £50, but then Jake added his critique, so I've reduced the asking price to £35. Postage is included.
  5. Darn! That's okay... I don't have a lot of storage space, so I'd prefer to sell quickly anyway.
  6. I have a pair of J-Spec lights for sale. They're in pretty good condition, but the plastic has gone slightly yellow. (Of course, that can be easily sorted.) Edit: having inspected them for the first time since starting this thread (since the car has been in the shop for over a week), I can now safely say that these lights have no yellowing at all! The plastic is slightly less clear than a brand new set, but they're otherwise perfect. I've also just realised that they've been painted black inside, like facelifts. I'm looking for 70 plus the postage.
  7. lol! Funnily enough, I nearly posted the same question myself!
  8. Agreed! However, the car is currently at the shop, having its exhaust (among other things) done. I was planning to post up some photos once the exhaust is off the car. That said, the exhaust is now provisionally sold (but I haven't taken money yet).
  9. Price reduced to £400. I should add that the sale will of course include the 3-inch to 4-inch adapter required to fit this to any stock cat (or decat) pipe. It's also worth pointing out that this is one of the best-fitting exhausts for the Supra, giving great ground clearance.
  10. Wow, what a lovely looking car! You lucky b4st4rd!
  11. Blimey, I've only just seen this. I had no idea you were selling up. And the price is so damn low... Mine was specced very similarly to yours, and I got just shy of 8K a couple of months ago. (And mine had a hideous Veilside wing on it!) I can't believe this hasn't been snapped up already. Good luck with the sale Doug.
  12. I have a standard auto shifter from my old TT. (I replaced it with a bling Levoc shifter.) It's in reasonable condition, but a tiny bit scuffed on one edge, as you might imagine for an original shifter. The pics aren't very good... Sorry.

    Drink.

How about a nice can of BL?
  14. Actually, I forgot to mention: in the second two photos of the bunnies I posted up earlier, Coconut (that's the darker one) was suffering from a nasty bout of myxomatosis. It took him nearly a month to shake it, and left him blind for another month. But he's fully recovered now, and upto mischief once more. I never thought I'd be so pleased to have a rabbit destroying my stuff again!
  15. He is lovely! As for my two... Appearances can be deceptive. They're a lot naughtier than they look.
  16. We've got two house rabbits. They can be a bit of handful. They like chewing wires, paper, curtains, walls... They didn't manage to chew through the exhaust though. http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/DSCN2842.jpg http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/nanaAndCoco251007/Dscn7498.jpg http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/pets/nanaAndCoco251007/Dscn7508.jpg Sorry... A bit off topic!
  17. I decided to replace my horrendously loud Boostlogic exhaust with something a bit quieter. So I bought a TRD on here second-hand. It was a bit... grey, so I thought I'd polish it up before fitting. A bit pointless I guess, but I figured I wouldn't get another chance. I only had a few hours to do it last night (as the car has now gone into the garage for lots of work, including the exhaust fitting), so I didn't spend as long on it as I would have liked. Also, I haven't got any tools, so it took a lot of manual scrubbing. That said, it's my first go at polishing anything, and I don't think it came out too bad, so I thought I'd share. Here's how it started: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/TRDexhaust004.jpg The rest of the pics were taken on my camera phone, so I apologise for the quality. Anyway, here's what it looked like after just starting on the silencer... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/justStarted.jpg And here's the silencer all done: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/silencerDone.jpg Here's the grubby pipe: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/nastyPipe.jpg And here's an interested rabbit, looking on... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/interestedRabbit.jpg And here it is, all finished... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone1.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone2.jpg
  18. In fact, I'm going from Eibach springs to stockers for this very reason!
  19. I've got a pair of Bilstein front shocks (without springs), if you dont want the full shock/spring combo. (I was assuming that Jimsupra would prefer to sell his set complete without splitting, but obviously he came along first...)
  20. Dammit... Why is it I always seem to be without my car when these are on?
  21. I've just bought some RLTC myself, and I can't wait to see what a difference it makes! So how are you finding it Gatso? Can you just put your foot down in the wet and let it do the rest....?
