  1. Definitely a pick. (I can send you a 'regular' pick or an air pick. I guess, with an air guitar, you'll probably want the air pick.) Not the stand.
  2. Yes, mine's a bit like that one, but I think it's more versatile, what with the humbuckers that can be switched into single coil mode. I guess 800 might be a bit steep for a second hand one. Make me an offer?
  3. Times are hard, so I've decided to sell my beloved air guitar. It's right-handed with 22 frets and twin humbucking pickups (with coil tap feature). It's beautifully sculpted, extremely comfortable to play, and without a doubt the lightest guitar I've ever picked up. It's also extremely durable, so don't be afraid to go gigging with it. I'm looking for £800 or nearest offer.
  4. This sh1t happens to me all the time. I did ring the police once and they didn't give a toss. Surely there must be some law against obstructing private property...
  5. It's good to know that the opinion of those who like these wheels doesn't count. Intriguing that you actually find it annoying...
  6. Interesting... seems I'm a fine of Weds in general. Wish I'd spotted these before I bought mine.
  7. Does it have to be the Moon, or will any celestial satellite do? With the current exchange rate, Ganymede is quite cheap.
  8. It just gets better and better.
  9. A couple of years back, I was driving on the inside lane of the dual carriageway at about 70. An Impreza on the outside lane was behind me and gradually closed up the distance until he was in my blind spot. Then he just stayed there, in that really annoying spot where you think to yourself, "Either overtake me or pull in." Anyway, he did neither, and I was about to floor it when he put on the blues and took off, presumably after another car! That was when I first realised that: (A) cops can drive unmarked Imprezas, and (B) they employ dodgy baiting tactics.
  10. Just my 2p worth... get yourself a stock one, not a 1.3 bar aftermarket one. Or, do the opposite, and buy yourself a new rad to match in a year or so.
  11. If I didn't have a Supra, I reckon I'd be comfortable from month to month and have a little disposable income to play with. But my Supra sucks up every penny I have to spare, and then some. Every couple of months I think, "I should have bought a sensible car." But then I come to my senses.
  12. Satriani rules... So I've just bought myself a Satriani signature guitar! Before I bought the guitar I was worse than mediocre. But now I'm worse than mediocre with an awesome axe! P.S. I never knew he once had hair...
  13. It had oil changes at least every 5K when I had it (and decent oil too), but that was only for about 2 years of its live. (And I didn't do many miles at all.) I couldn't tell you about the history before I bought it though. That's good news that everything's nearly ready.
  14. Sorry, I should have posted up last time. It's sold.
  15. I've owned two Supras. They've both been as bullet proof as Swiss cheese.
  16. Oh well... I suppose in the grand scheme of things, 30 punds is about what it costs us (in fuel) to start the darn thing up in the morning.
  17. 0.5 db quieter on an RSR? Maybe it would have been cheaper and just as effective to put a small plaster on it.
  18. Life's a gamble. Maybe the odds against you are higher if you combine a loud exhaust with dark windows and drive like a willy. And no, that wasn't aimed at anyone in particular! Just a thought...
  19. Michael, you're on good form today. I needed a laugh...
  20. I don't know what that picture is, but what you're saying doesn't sound good. On a sliding scale of bad, I've no idea quite how bad. But it's all kind of irrelevent... I've spent the very last of my savings on this car this year. About 4 years worth of savings to be precise, and now I've got nothing left. So if there's anything else seriously wrong with it, then I'm just a bit stuffed. And here was me thinking the bad luck had finally come to an end!
  21. Oh yeah, it was blowing. It's got a decent gasket on there now. Here's some more photos of work done at the time... http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop013.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop014.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop015.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop016.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop028.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop038.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop045.JPG http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/toyotaGT/workshop046.JPG
  22. Ah, right. Yes, they recommend relocating the screamer pipe as it was directed straight into the shell, so I asked them to go ahead and do that. I guess I'll probably need to take more photos of the support.
  23. I believe that's the custom support. But TBH, I haven't really got a clue!
