I think it's the whole thing. I'm just waiting for James from ToyotaGT to confirm for me. (They diagnosed the issue.)

I've got a 24-inch widescreen Philips CRT TV available free to anyone that wants to pick it up (from Berkshire). It comes with matching stand. It's about three years old and works fine. It's in pretty good condition, although a couple of the buttons on the remote control have been exposed to house rabbits! (The buttons work fine... they just don't look perfect!) http://pics.just2good.co.uk/forSale/tv.jpg
-
I don't believe it does.
-
Cheers fella! I've dropped the price as I need this out of the way.
-
No takers? This is a bargain! And I could really do with getting the stuff out of my house!
-
I've been advised I need a replacement propshaft. (The splines are worn on mine and result in some nasty clonking when put my foot on the clutch.) I guess one from a breaker would be ideal, but I've no idea what one of these usually fetches! Can anyone help? *** NEVERMIND. Bought a new one. ***

I've had quite a few PMs about this exhaust. Sorry I haven't had a chance to reply to them yet. I've been a bit busy these last couple of days. As it stands at the moment, I think I have a deal with TTRickeh. Branners currently has 2nd refusal. I haven't managed to take any photos showing the clearance yet, but I've never caught anything in the 18 months I've had it.
-
Ground clearance is good. It never scrapes, though my car is on stock springs. I'll endeavour to take some photos later, but as for now, I'm late for work!
-
TTRickeh, assuming you're paying for the postage, then it looks like we have a deal! I don't know exactly when the other club member will be giving me her Dragger, so I can't promise a date at the moment. But as soon as I have some details (and a booking with James!), I'll let you know. Sound okay? And James, the email you'll have received a few minutes ago from me won't come as a surprise now.
-
I'd rather not, as I've no idea how I'd pack the thing and get it shipped! Yeah, there don't seem to be any about. In fact, I've never seen another during my time on this board. I've noticed some companies making copies of the TRD 'Gen2', but the Gen2 looks nothing like this exhaust, and I hear the copies are nothing like the TRDs anyway.

About 18 months ago I put this TRD exhaust on my car as the BL I had was aggravating my continual migraines. I wanted something quiet, and after quite a bit of hunting, decided on the TRD. It is phenominally quiet! Those that have heard it will testify that it sounds nearly as quiet as a stock Supra (ask Ryan or Homer), but with more of a growl. And that's on my single! It does have a nice tone, but such things are always subjective. I took these photos when I polished up the exhaust before putting it on my car: http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/silencerDone.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone1.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/zorst/allDone2.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/060408/rearRight1.jpg http://supra.just2good.co.uk/myBlackSingle/060408/rear1.jpg I'm now selling it because it is a little bit too restrictive for my car. I struggle to get more than 1.25 bar of boost, which is limiting me to 500FWHP. So I wouldn't recommend this exhaust to anyone wanting to run more power than that. But it's certainly fine for anyone BPU or with a modest single and not expecting more than 500 bhp. A fellow club member is selling me her SuperDragger, which is expected to be taken off her car in about a week. At this point I can take the TRD off my car. It can be collected from me in Berkshire, or alternatively, I may be able to leave it at ToyotaGT for a short while, which is where I'll be having the zorsts swapped. This is a full cat-back exhaust and is considerably more free-flowing than stock. If you want a performance zorst that's incredibly quiet and at a bargain price, then this is the one for you. I'm looking for £250.

Hey guys. I have for sale my Panasonic HT840 Home Cinema System. It is a multiformat DVD player, complete with 5.1 surround sound speakers, and a whopping 800W total power (with 260W driving the subwoofer.) Here's what it looks like... http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/ht840/panasonic_scht840_big.jpg Here are the specs... * 800W total output * Multiformat playback (DVD, DVD+/-RW, DVD-RAM, CD, CD-R, SVCD, etc), including mp3 and wma * Active subwoofer (with built-in 260W amp, controllable independently through the remote) * 360 degree sound technology * PAL/NTSC * Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 Surround Sound * FM/AM Tuner It has loads of external connectivity, as shown in this image: http://www.darrenlester.co.uk/camera/ht840/ht840-rear.jpg For a full review of the system (and comparison with other systems), see the avreview group test here: http://www.avreview.co.uk/news/article/mps/uan/642. It's in pretty good condition. However, the remote control has a few scratches on it due to rabbit exposure! Works fine though. There is a small scratch on the front of the slimline DVD player too, but it's not very noticeable. If you were to buy it new, it will cost you around £350, as seen here... http://www.gibbs-home-electronics.co.uk/pr...b44ccb86bca4c40. I'm looking for £80. Collection from Berkshire area preferred.

Cheers guys. Someone has offered to sell me their not-very-old SuperDragger II, for a very reasonable price, so I think that's what I'll be getting.
-
Good to know! I've dropped Tanabe a query asking for the sequence of restrictiveness (and noise) for their exhausts, as they have quite a few and the website doesn't really give much indication.

Hey guys. I'm resurrecting an old thread... Sorry! I've been very pleased with my TRD exhaust (which appears to be the 'old' style), because - as people have commented - it is incredibly quiet. However, I think it's also a bit too restrictive on my single. This exhaust is restricting me to 500fwhp, which is a fair bit less than I was getting when I had the BL 4-inch on it. People warned me that it might be too restrictive, but Oh No... I wouldn't listen! So, now I'm back to square one. I'm thinking about selling or swapping my TRD, because it's good for up to 500bhp (and certainly fine for BPU), and there are plenty of people that want a really quiet exhuast. But I want an exhaust that is less restrictive but still fairly quiet. I think the Medallion Touring might be too restrictive also, as it has two massive silencers. I would certainly consider a SuperDragger, but there don't seem to be many about? The GReddy Ti-R sounds nice (is now the PE Ti-R?), but it does look quite pricey. I've stumbled across the XS Power "Gen2-style" 3-inch exhaust, and this looks a bit of a bargain. I know there are some fairly old threads about this exhaust, but nothing recent. Does anyone know how the noise levels compare against, say, a SuperDragger or Ti-R? Any restriction issues? Sorry for opening up the debate again!

Sweet! Thanks.

I didn't know you could vent a stock recirculating BOV to atmosphere. Kind of begs the question as to why people replace them in the first place!
-
Sounds like a plan.
-
It's a 2001 single turbo, bog standard.
-
My missus would like a blowoff valve for her Scooby. It's all about the noise, I'm afraid! Anyway, are BOVs universal? Anything I should know about buying one for a Scooby? I looked on Scoobynet, but it didn't seem to good over there... Nobody appears to reply to other people's questions on that board!
-
That was mean! I was feeling so sorry for the poor lad!

I had thought that they might put some effort into ensuring I was satisfied, given that the same garage once completely wrote-off Sharpie's car, and they well-know that we do communicate our experiences to a large body of people. There were some very nice people that I spoke to at Toyota, but I fear they are only the 'front-line'.
-
As stated above, I'd recommend anyone wanting any bodywork done to avoid Toyota Octagon in Binfield at all costs. When I picked up the car for the second time last week, I could tell it wasn't a brilliant job, but it also didn't look that bad, and I was so fed up of them that I just wanted to get away. But now I've inspected the car in sunlight and artificial light, I can see that the work is horrendous. The entire nosecone is completely covered in scratches. These didn't show when I picked the car up. They're the kind of surface scratches you might expect if you rubbed hard using a sponge dipped in filthy, muddy water for about 10 minutes. I'm hoping some severe polishing with a strong abrasive polish might remove this damage. Also, the paint blending is awful. In the artificial light, you can clearly see where they've been respraying part of the nose cone. And finally, there are now several micro-cracks where the nose cone meets up against headlights on both sides, which implies they had some difficulty putting it back on. I should take it back a third time and get it rectified, but the thing that really puts me off is the body shop guy named Steve, who was unfriendly, unhelpful, uncommunicative, and borderline rude, right from the start. (And he was like this even when I turned up as a customer for the first time, with work to be paid for by the third party insurerer.) In addition, when I picked up the car, a couple of the chavvy body work lads wandered over and starting saying crap like, "I don't like Japanese cars. Audis and Volkswagens are real cars. You should get one of them!" Bear in mind, I've never met these people before, and I'm a customer having my car fixed by them. How unprofessional is it for their body work chavs to come over and express their opinions in this way? And furthermore, if they dislike Japanese cars so much, why are they working for Toyota? Another more senior body work guy started a conversation with me while I was waiting for the guys to polish out the scratches, and then walked off mid-conversation, when it became apparent he was bored! That was just blatantly rude. So, to conclude, I don't want to take it back, and I will be paying another garage to do the job properly, when I can afford it. It's a shame, as I've now been put off Toyota in general.

Dark green (don't see that colour often), yesterday morning at around 08:00. I gave you a flash (and then used my headlights).

Sorry for not replying sooner. I've been in a location bereft of Internet connection for a couple of days! It's a 2001 WRX Turbo, stock. Check my garage...
