  1. :-) Some how I thought you'd all enjoy that 'review'. I think I'd better get spome sleep now, too much vodka and I'm filminf at 7am, aieee1!! Good night all23
  2. Where are there some good comtemporary reviews of thr Supra online?
  3. A little more sound is ok, I just don't want my car to end up sounding like every other WRX out there rumbling away. Saying that, the way a TVR Tuscan rumbles is very acceptable :-) Confused!
  4. I don't usually bother with this site but I came across the Supra review and it seemed just a little slanted. Have any of you seen it? What do you think? Link to review
  5. I take it they were Toyota mats? That's the only thing to do with a Supra that my local dealership sells!
  6. I've had just the same (also one from Hary Potter) in the last 48 hours. Scum Nigerian fraudsters.
  7. Hi, Got my car posted up in the for sale section if anybody was interested. I've had so many messages and PM's its mad. You must all live on this board!
  8. Holy crap. that steering wheel was fitted???!!! Good call on the first purchase then :-)
  9. Hi all to all those that have since said hi. How many of you are there on here?!!!!
  10. I'm curious. When you guys/gals bought your first Supra what was the very first thing you bought for it? Mine was the 'Pulp Fiction' soundtrack CD to listen to on the way home with my new purchase. I actually bought the disk whilst getting the bankers draft for the car :-) Disk is still in the car! So how about you lot??? :-)
  11. Ok. I suppose the big question is where do you start and then work from there. I am not looking for anything crazy (yet!) so i suppose the basic idea of the bpu parts listed above would suit me for now. I'd like to get somewhere around 400BHP but am happy todo it in stages to keep it affordable and so I can keep an eye on what is happening. Presumably the downpipe and back section are the firsy two bits to work on right? I'm not into loud, farty cars (no insult intended!), more into something a little more subtle. Recommendations?
  12. :-) I just can't wait. Somebody has to buy my car ASAP!! :-) Somethign tells me this forum is going to cost me a lot of money over the next few months/years!
  13. Thanks. I was hoping just to use their store as a guide to some of the things I would need :-) What's the deal with importing the parts these days? Is it still cheaper doing it this way or are the parts in blighty not too bad? Thanks.
  14. Hi everybody. I will be buying my TT Supra quite soon and plan on doing some basic upgrades quite early on. I like the sound of the BPU level 1 upgrade that suprastore offer (it's ok to mention companies here right?). They suggest the following 5 items plus an uprated fuel pump (for non UK cars). 1. Downpipe 2. A'PEXi N1 Exhaust System 3. GReddy BCC 4. GReddy Profec B-Spec Electronic Boost Controller 5. 52mm Greddy Boost Gauge. I was wondering what your opinions are on this kind of upgrade? Are there better ways to go? Would you import the parts and get a company over here to fit them, fit them yourself or get a shop over here to do the lot including getting the parts? How much roughly would you expect to pay for this kind of uprgrade including both parts and labour? Thanks :-) I'd like to do some or all of it myself but I'm not that convinced of my automotive abilities! :-)
  15. Thankyou. I know it's not the bet time to sell an aero-top. I've spent too much time looking at bpu level 1 upgrades though and now I've got the urge to experiment! :-) Also, I've never owned a petrol turbo car of any kind so its quite exciting. Until I can post in the for sale section could anybody give me a rough price to sell my car for? The basic spec is as follows and the only downers are the mileage (92k and a lightly scuffed front left wheel). Thats it :-) Toyota Supra 3.0l Aero-Top 18" MOMO allows (with goodyear tyres) Kenwood CD Tuner Uprated infiniti speakers OEM bodykit fitted 1993 K Reg 92k 6 months MOT & TAX (passed last MOT perfect bar the fog light, forgot to put in a new bulb :-) I'm looking for a quick sale so I can get on buying my new turbo 'Suppy'/Soop :-) What price range would you all advise? Your probably the best people to ask and your the kind of people that own these cool machines. Thanks. Off to post about upgrades... :-) Mmmmm.
  16. Thanks, don't make me sad now, I've got it up for sale :-)
  17. I have that problem too! Over 65 MPH the front wipers miss the water :-)
  18. Hi there. Thankyou for the welcome, that was pretty overwelming :-) I'm going to post the details of my car as soon as I get permission. I've paid my £10 membership so I guess I just need to wait for the admin dude :-) Here are a few pics just so you can see I'm a 'proper' supra owner. :-) BTW, what are the most common nicknames for Supras? I know the Subaru drivers have their scoobies. I'm looking to sell my old Supra ASAP so the price will be pretty good (I think so anyway :-)
  19. Hi all, I've just joined your forum and thought I'd say hi before I launch into 100s of posts as a complete stranger :-) I've had my Supra 18 months now (non-turbo Aerotop) and and about to change it for a twin turbo. I have big plans including all sorts of 'upgrades' and I look forward to chatting to you all in the future. This place seems a good home for Supra owners so I've joined as a member and will get started soon. I have my old car up for sale and at the same time I'm on the hunt for a new car, just didn't want that to be my first post :-) My name is Polemarch, well, Michael really :-) and lurk about in the Cardiff area of our grand island.
