  1. Hi all. I want to upgrade the player in my soop as it's the original unit and not really that great. I'm not interested in fancy ICE setups, just a good unit for the stock speakers. Any suggestions? Also, I'd like one that fits as well as possible in the awkward space of the Supra. iPod compatible woul dbe nice but not essential. I like the PIONEER DEH-P77MP, just because it has a low key, stylish look and sounds really nice. Anybody have one and will it fit flush? 2nd. What do I do about the gap left? Is there a blanking plate or even better, storage space thing to put wallet etc? Thanks in advance.
  2. thanks. Any idea how I get to the back of the control box? Do I need to take out the entire dash?
  3. Hi all. I hve a problem with my mirrors. The mirror adjustment control is doing nothing, either on the left or right side adjustment. I have a GZ and the mirror fold button works fine. Any ideas??? Could it be a fuse or is the fold button and adjustment all tied in together? Thanks

  5. £510 Protected Comprehensive with Elephant. Supra twin turbo GZ, 1994, 18k miles per year. I'm 30, 6 years no claims, no claims or points.
  6. She's a GZ spec as well so finally leather seats! Feeder song springs to mind...???!
  7. Thanks. She's just in from Japan and looks completely untouched. Drives like a new car. Waiting for the registration, underseal etc, fitted alarm etc. Bit of un upgrade from my old NA aerotop. Thanks for the comments :-) Will post more when i get my hands on her!
  8. I've just put down the deposit and am collecting her on Firday. She's a 94, black Twin Turbo with 62k and looks absolutely mint. Very happy. Here is a pic....
  9. Hi all. I've just bought a black, 94 TT, GZ. Will post up pics when I collect her on Friday. Thanks for all the comments.
  10. Some lovely cars there. I simply just don't want white or silver, just don't like them as much as I like red, black, blue tc. No insult to you silver guys n gals btw. My ideal spec if a TT, black GZ with factory bodykit and decent miles. If anybody has one then I'll have it! :-)
  11. Nice car, shame is silver :-( Won't budge though! :-)
  12. Hi all. I'm back again and now looking for an untouched twin turbo as my main car within the next few weeks. I'm looking for a twin turbo in excellent condition, don't care if UK or Jap. The primary concern is condition and mileage. Also, i don't want white or silver. Ideally I'd like a Black GZ with low miles. Anybody got anything nice for sale?
  13. Please could somebody explain to me exactly what the half leather seats in the Supra are? Any official documentation or brochure links would be appreciated. I've attached pictures of my interior below, what would you call it? Half leather or is it something else? Is half leather actually leather or just leather looking?
  14. Thanks for that. Sadly the car was a writeoff, glad my girlfriend is in the auto finance trade :-) All those free HPI checks etc. Bastard though, guy swore it was 100% fine other than the front brakes! Grrrrr.
  15. How much would it costs to replace a set of faulty brakes on a UK TT Supra? Just the front brakes btw. I need the full price includng parts and fitting. Thanks.
  16. I think it's down to the entrenched manual support harking back decades to times when car prices, reliability and fuel consumption were all set against autos. Also, an auto is at its worst in low powered cars, the very vehicles most Brits drive and have always driven. :-) You can gauge by the number of manuals and autos on this board that they are basically equals and that it comes down to personal preference in the end. You'll be very happy I think with whichever car you go for.
  17. I tried both extensively before buying my NA. Originally I wanted a manual as most UK drivers feel to start with. After trying both though I found the auto to be fab and I plan on staying with it. Also, the aerotops were all auto so in the end I had no choice anyway. Personally, I would chosed auto over manual unless the auto was cheaper, thats just my op though. I'd rather an auto aero NA than a manual non-aero NA.
  18. Little bastards. Let's hope the plod find it fast, unlikely I know, you might get lucky though :-( Sorry guys.
  19. Buy my car, it's a red aerotop and going for 5,750! :-) Bargain. Okay, sorry about the hijack, just couldn't stop myself :-) I agree though, if your buying an NA then get the best example you can find. There are plenty to choose from so decide what you want and stick to it.
  20. What is the best way to launch your automatic if it is totally stock? I've heard all about these stall and torque convertors etc but what about a basic, stock car? Starting from idle seems far from perfect and you can't slip or drop the clutch as you don't have one. Can you use two feet to hold the footbrake whilst increasing the revs? Will this cause damage? What are the safe limits if any? In my NA I find just slamming my foot to the floor as quickly as possible is enough to beat everything but I want to see what you are supposed to do :-) Thanks :-)
  21. I'll come and watch :-) Have you noticed that the review says nothing about the car itself??
  22. I really like the bronze Supra's but there are very few about, the only one that is roughly good enough (TT) has messy bodywork. I'd much rather have a mint car to start with. What is the deal with respraying? I mean a real pro respray? If you bought a nice white or silver car could you get it sprayed bronze and what would it look like? I don't want a second rate car, it must look like new. Is this possible? Where do you get it done and how much does it cost? Do they remove the old paint? If the car gets scratched does the old paint or primer show through? Do these places do inside the engine bag and the interior bodywork (if it needs painting). Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get this possibilioty straight in my head. Wow, what a waste of words??!!! I'm sure I could have said all of that in 10 words!!! Thanks in advance.
  23. I want a red TT. Where are these loads of cars? I want one ASAP!
