  1. You've been spotted on Caerleon Road in Newport half a dozen times! Welcome. How are your mods coming along?
  2. Not another rumbling NA. Please don't do it!
  3. Hi timalbert, I see you driving around Newport quite a bit, I drive a black TT in the same place, am often around the Caerleon road area.
  4. Hi there. You'll get this. I get it all the time in my Supra every day! :-)
  5. I bought them on eBay, a guy there sells them in singles or the set of four (which I bought).
  6. They are off. Holy crap that was a hard job!
  7. So what is the bare minimum I can get done to get some bass back into my system?
  8. My toyota head unit in my GZ was broken and has been replaced with a Panasonic head unit, presumably with an ISO adapter. It works fine though the boot mounted sub now no longer works. The sound is really tinny though and I'm not impressed. Is this down to the CD tuner, speakers, lack of sub in boot or what? I don't want to throw lots of money at this, just want a half decent sound system Right now I have to turn the bass up to max just to hear anything.
  9. Sounds very likey. Wil check later. Is it hard to make use of the stock amp?
  10. I'm having a heck of a time trying to remove the tired boot rubbers on my Supra. The bottom ones I understand are locked in with loctite and I can't get a screwdriver at them. Any ideas???? I have the four replacement rubbers all ready to fit.
  11. I have a 100% stock Supra with a Panasonic CD tuner (nothing fancy). I am getting nothing from the boot mounted sub (stock sub btw) and the remaining speakers seems very tinny. I have to turn the bass up to +16db (maximum) to hear any bass at all. Any ideas what the problem could be? The CD Tuner is new but I've only owned the car a weeks. Is somethign not connected properly? Any ideas on what I can do without spending a fortune?? Thanjks.
  12. Highest bids so far are for £80 plus shipping for this funky little chap. I'll wait until this evening and if I don't get a better offer will offer it to these chaps. Good luck all.
  13. Thats a cunning plan :-) Will try that out very soon!
  14. It has the pipe and is shiny new!! I'll take a pic of the kit in the morning. In answer to the barrage of PMs I've just had: 1: I will ship to anywere n Europe as long s we work out the postage rate. 2: I won't accept £40 :-) 3: The kit includes he pipe for a J Spec Supra, ring (seal?), metal brackets, the filter unit itself, instructions and various bolts etc.
  15. I notice there are a few creaks from my dash that stop if you push on the lastic surrounds etc. What' the best ay to stop this as it really annoys me on the less smooth A roads that we seem to have loads of. Is there something I can seal it with and then screw it back on to get aroundf the worst of them? The worst bit is the dash surround around the steering wheel, speedo etc. Thanks.
  16. My tailgate is creaking and I think I need the four rubbers as described in the technical article on this board. Does anybody here sell them? If so, I'd like to place an order.
  17. I was bought this Apexi intake as a present but don't really want to fit it as I'm happy with my stock set up (for now). This is brand new, all I have done is open the box, put it together and fit it to the car for about 30 mins to see what it was like. So essentially it is like brand new Come sin box with all fittings and instructions. To recap, this is as new and designed for the Supra Twin Turbo (93-96). Am open to offers?? Happy to take cash, cheque, paypal etc. I'm in Newport, South Wales. SOLD http://www.jazzproparts.com/images/APEXi%20Power%20Intake%20Systems.jpg
  18. This sucks. Just spent the last 20 mins reading the first 18 pages. Was going to post a message of support and now see it is too late. This is really bad news, sounds like he was one tough kid to keep going so long. Thoughts are with the family. Is there a collection or something being organised?
  19. Are there any good nationwide installers that could install the unit without screwing up my dash and airbag??? Or a store in South Wales that is decent? I'd rather somebody that knew what they were doing installed it for me! :-)
  20. car import centre in Bristol.
  21. Thats cool, in fact, that is the one I was thinking of buying as my 2nd choice. The iPod interface is a big plus! Did you need to remove he dash during your installation? I'e got the crappy Toyota stock tape/cd player.
  22. Thanks. I'd like an install just like yours. Do you get the tray from Toyota or are there 'compatible' ones around?
  23. Thanks. I'm taking the car back in on Friday as the CD player isn't working right. May as well get them to do the mirrors at the same time.
