Come on there must be some aftermarket steerings in use
-
Hi all My steering wheel is looking shabby (faded, worn and stitching coming apart). Seems like the previous owner (or could be his dog) must have been chewing on it so thinking of replacing it. Not sure what to go for so suggestions (ideally with pictures) please. N.B. Are they easy to replace? Thanks Jas

Would this fit/work in a 95 NA JSpec? Thanks Jas

Sorry Guys Must be going blind / stupid. I cannot see any plastic covers on the runner rail. I've seen the connector / wires but cannot see how the seat comes out. Should I be looking somewhere else? Does anyone have any pictures?

Hi All I need to remove the passenger seat from a jspec NA. I take it the seat has to be removed from the sliding rails but cant see any screws or bolts. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Jas

This is why I bought a NA and converted it to run on LPG. That was nearly seven years ago. Still happy with it now even though cost of LPG has gone up 20p per litre in last three months. I really wanted a tt but had just finished uni and knew I wouldnt be able to run one without getting further into debt. Was talking to my boss at the time who is a proper petrol head and does weekend racing etc but said it was getting too expensive. He was running a C class AMG which he converted to LPG and was very happy. So I spoke to several LPG installers who all said converting a turbo to lpg would be a problem. I love the look / shape of supra's and after much deliberation bought a NA and had it converted. To be honest I would still love to have a tt but thinking about it logically when will you ever to get to use all that power / speed. Nearly every stretch of road near me has a speed camera or too much traffic to be able to put my foot down. Soon motorways will be covered with them and the only place left to use performance cars will be track days! Just to give you an idea I'm currently using my car to commute from Bham to Luton which is nearly 90 miles. I'm normally doing 90ish all the way. It costs approx £15 per trip on LPG. On petrol it costs approx £25. But the LPG is only worth it if you do the mileage and / or keep the car as there is the initial install cost. Jas

Hey I'm very interested in this but could you upload a picture or point me to ine to make sure its the one I want (I believe there are several available from diffferent companies) Jas
-
Hey all, Saw an old thread whilst searching for spoilers. Does anyone know if these are still available and how much they cost? Thanks Jas
-
Guys (inc Gals) If you convert a car to LPG (on an NA), would you then be able to advance the engine timing to gain more power? (seeing as lpg is 110 RON). Would this be worthwhile? i.e. likely cost vs likely performance increase? You'd have to use RON booster in the petrol when not on LPG. Any good products out there to this? Thanks Jas

Nice spoiler Carl, do you have any other pics?
-
Just wanted to do something a little different. All the supra's here look the same.
-
The worst ones are on the motorway. Your crusing at ??? and a prat decides to drive up your behind. Hit the brakes and its bye for him and you (but its so tempting). So you pull over and let them past. But a mile up the road you see the same prat trotting along at 80 again. Whats that all about? My wife refuses to drive the car after she's had idiots actually swerve in front of her to intimidate her. Shame really. Jas

Hi all, Just wanted to check if anyone knew of a roof spoiler that will fit the MKIV other than the one MVP sell (looks too small)? Thanks Jas
-
Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my JSpec brakes and wondered if brakes from any other car e.g. lexus would fit and have similar performance to UK Spec. Thanks Jas
-
Would it be possible to increase the compression any further e.g. to 13:1? Just read an article on the civic type r before reading this thread which said the engine compression ratio on that was 12:1 What would be involved in doing this and what would be the likely cost? Jas
-
Just checked. The open door symbol does not come on. Could you tell me roughly where the door switch is? Thanks Jas
-
Hi All, Just noticed that the interior light on my JSpec NA does not come on when I open the passenger side door. Works ok from drivers side. Is this normal? Thanks Jas
-
Thanks all, Tried going http://www.supraforums.com but doesnt appear to be working Jas

N.B. Info on those alloys would be great too and whats that under the rear bumper? Love the look of that car! Jas

Hi all, Trying to upgrade standard system but on a budget. I've managed to buy second hand alpine head unit and front speakers can't exactly remember the model number now but was thinking of replacing the rear speakers too with some thing that will add bass. I think the rears are 6.5" (correct me if wrong) and did a google for 6" subs and this site came up. I'm thinking about the last ones on the page. I've emailed m-99 to get specs as they order them in. http://www.m-99.co.uk/Car_Audio/6_Inch_Subwoofers/6_inch_subwoofers.html Or I could just get some more alpine speakers for rear and add an alpine swe 1000 active sub Any thoughts Thanks Jas

Hi all, Does anyone have one of these, if so where have you mounted it (pictures would be ideal)? Most pictures show the unit standing up but can they be fitted in horizontally? Thanks Jas
-
Look nice, but doesnt really help my dilema unless you take your nice dash apart and picture how they are wired
-
So how do the dials get powered? do you have to press a seperate switch? Also, I cannot see how the dials get wired as the instrument cluster is a closed unit so how do the wires attached to the dials get routed to the power adaptor that comes with them? I assume the power adaptor must get positioned behind the instrument cluster? Can anyone who has done this offer any help. Unfortunately the dials did not come with any instructions and having spent good money on these i'm relectunt to buy other ones and don't want to leave these lying around! Thanks Jas
