Hi all, Has anyone bought a workshop manual from http://www.workshopmanuals.co.uk? Are they any good for an imported (NA) Supe? It'll save me asking really silly questions and making a fool of myself on this website!! Can anyone recommend a good maintenance manual for an NA? Don't mind if its got TT-specific stuff in it too (give me something to drool over before my next purchase ) Thanx

Maybe. I've downloaded a manual for the stereo, but haven't found any info yet about how to wire it up. This might be a job for the ICE-man.

Got it! Metallic bronze, NA manual. Nice! Need to get the stereo sorted though. I'm not convinced it's been wired up properly. Also, the aerial doesn't expand or retract automatically. Didn't notice this until I'd bought it. Arse!

Hi all! Does anyone know where I can find all the VIN plates on an import? Presumably there's one in the usual place on the front of the engine bay, but what about elsewhere on the body? Thanks for your help

Absolutely! I've owned it since it had 35k on it, with a paper trail of documents to prove it. Great (if slow) engines, shame about the rust-prone bodywork. I've got a feeling the performance of the supe will be a bit of an 'eye opener' for me. Clean underwear, please!

Thanks guys! I've just had a good look through other posts and I can't really find *ANY* major faults! Oh, apart from squeaky boot rubbers! If that's the extent of it, I don't have too much to worry about! Has anyone had a car inspection done by the AA or RAC? Are they worth it on a Supe? Anyone want to buy a Rover Metro 1.1? 144k on the clock and still ticking

Hi all, I'm hoping to buy a NA manual v.soon, probably from a private seller. I've had a good look through the buyers guides etc, and there don't seem to be many obvious faults to look for. Does anyone know of any common faults? Any help is much appreciated!
